Weren't they a place above us and now two places above but I know exactly what you mean.
Yes, like Cheltenham last week, they were above us and have had a very good start after their struggles last season. So 4 points out of 6 these last two games has been really good👍
Must be one of the ongoing mysteries in football how Macc can put out a pretty decent team with all these rumours of non payment of players. Their centre back who scored Vassell is up there with the best League 2 players this season. Also a couple of very bright midfielders Osadebe and Archibald who caused us problems
A point away from home is always welcome, but it's yet another game we've dominated possession and shots. We're averaging about 15 shots a game these days, if we want to move up the table and get in the play off's THIS is the kind of game we need to win.
We're definitely moving in the right direction and I feel for the first time in the last 4 or 5 years we are finally moving forwards rather than looking to sustain our place in the league where we are.
Highlights below.
Defending for the Macclesfield goal was frankly pathetic and Ollie Palmer was perhaps a tad unfortunate not to put in the rebound from Lubala's shot although he could've been more alert and side footed that in.
Just seen the Sky highlights, scrappy goal by them, superb equaliser from Bez, Morris two fantastic saves (as usual) and Palmer unlucky not to get winner. Happy with a point and we still have a positive GD. Oh well another 41 points should see us safe
Well well well....the feel good bandwagon continues and the restaurant is getting a better reputation....I hear they do an excellent humble pie..😀
You are not the only person who believed keeping our manager was the best option....there were many ,myself included. But you are the only one who seems to think it necessary to keep posting pathetic little comments when the team get a point or three. Give it a rest...you are making yourself look silly now
Gotta suspect that there will be a few clubs sizing up an offer for Bez in the window...?
To raise his profile even more, Lubala (my lord) even managed to shake off the traditional hoodoo - with his stunning equaliser - that usually impacts the recipient of the PFA fans player of the month too: www.thepfa.com/thepfa/pfa-fans-player-of-the-month
I hope Dominic Poleon is taking note of what happens when you actually seize an opportunity...(?)

Yeah goal scorers don’t last long here. He is on a 2 year contract so it’ll have to be a nice sum.
It is too early to pay any attention to the table. I always think that you get the formation & style right, to just let the results take care of themselves, change things when you need to start scrapping...
...this season we have a far more mobile, energetic & attractive way about us, with a real depth & variety in our squad.
THAT (plus a couple of good cup wins) is why I believe that there is genuine valid reasons to have a more positive outlook, I will enjoy it while it lasts.
Yes... it could have all been achieved - or maybe even improved on - by a change of manager during our rotten run of results last season... No-one (even the cleverest brains hereabouts) will ever really know... I do wish people could simply come to terms & accept that reality...(?)
The shots stat is a bit weird, it didn’t feel like 19, apart from Ferguson’s excitable one over the bar in the first half and Ollie’s half chance scuff at the end, there appeared to be few really good clear cut chances created and it felt like it needed a worldie to go in, which it did thankfully.
Caution is sensible as it’s a game that asked as many questions about our best attacking line up than answered them.
I’m hoping it’s because Macc are a good team because it was a slog at times. Both Bully and Camera did well when Cioffi sacrificed the extra midfielder but Ferguson surely can’t be left out

Last season anyone who supported the manager and didn’t jump on the Cioffi is useless bandwagon got completely slated on here. For some of us it was obvious that he needed a pre season and his own players to implement any sort of plan. I even got accused of being one of cioffi’s Italian chums for saying this. I support r15srn’s comments because hopefully they encourage people to engage their brain before forming opinions rather than jumping on bandwagons.
