you may well be correct, however I find it outrageous that TV can move fixtures and not even compensate clubs. Surely tye club would not have chosen to play on Sunday
But why should clubs need compensating? You’re assuming that there’ll be a lower crowd, but no-one knows that for certain.. and as has now been clarified, we get £12,500 for the game being on the Sunday.
The rules of the cup are quite clear. No-one likes games moved but that is part of the deal for attracting TV contracts and prize money.
If we win on Sunday we could pocket £54,000 prize money and £12,500 from TV.
There is no evidence that a Sunday game will bring a lower crowd, in fact several people have said on FB they can now go when they couldn't on Saturday.
Everyone likes a moan but it sounds like the sort of stuff RRR used to post.
