Straight Red 18: A Bit of BS, Big Brother and BINGO!

Great listen 👍🏻I really liked the fact you had Naomi on the pod and was a good way of showcasing the wasps and just how well they are doing. I feel like the straight red bingo will cause a shitstorm 😂 especially with club officials however it doesn’t bother me. One thing to mention is I know you ran out of time but Jonathan got a bit cut off when talking towards the end about whether the club was being run a business and about HKP. It was just an abrupt end to what he was saying and then cut to music.

Hahah, i think Bingo has already ruffled some feathers. We try and inject some fun into proceedings no matter how bad things get, and we'll never apologise for trying to make people smile when there's little opportunities on offer elsewhere from the pitch.

Good to hear about Crawley Wasps, Naomi came across very well. Shame they are playing in EG. They are clearly interested in getting involved with Crawley Town, I would have thought that was the type of project Erdem and Selim could focus on while leaving the men's side to Cioffi and team.

In fact I noticed on the club website that the men's team has a Head Coach, Assistant Head Coach, Coach, Goalkeeping Coach, Fitness Coach, Analyst, Assistant Analyst, Data Analyst and two scouts. Not to mention the Director of Football and 'Football Consultant' (12 people). Maybe on a future podcast the guys might be able to give us a clue what they all do?

I'm sure they do. Translating a top 8 budget into 17th place two seasons running must take some pretty hard yakka.

With recent goings on at the club in the last week or so, I think Ewan & Jonathan will have a packed programme in store lined up for Episode 19 of the Straight Red Podcast!!
