In one sense the club has a right to make management changes and these should be made independent of any parties outside the club.
However, the original post illustrates how this process was badly managed. And also seems to introduce financial concerns which have never been previously cited.
I think most fans on this forum have been sceptical of the budget claims, but to introduce financial issues within this statement seems bizarre.
For me the main positives of Erin’s ownership of the club have occurred of the field. Commercially and in terms of fan engagement a lot of good work has been completed. Which to me makes the decision very strange.
I really don’t think the club have understood the gravity that the word ‘financial challenges’ will carry; it provokes so many follow up questions (and contradicts everything we previously been told).
Thanks for all your hard work Kelly, you will be missed.
Bruce is off to the "carrier bags" but not sure if related (I think one of the reasons he hung around this long was to help Kelly) but we do seem to be ditching any remnants of our history, while under achievers such as Selim look as though they are retaining a job, couldnt we ditch him and save a few bob, would we notice?
I fear that we may not see the season out, just how many coaching staff do we have now? How much did financial constraints contribute to Gaby being cast aside? I am beginning to fear for the clubs continued existace
I understand that sometimes tough decisions have to be made. But there are due process & correct paths to follow, which enable all parties to act with honour & dignity.
Kelly definitely deserves better than to be treated in this shabby, disrespectful, hurtful & unprofessional way.

Do we need to catastrophize? Of course deep down Im sure fans may be thinking this and of course it would help if the club could elaborate. A concern in clubs like ours is always if all our eggs are in one basket.
I very much agree with Thads remarks that someone that held the club dear to her heart has lost a job she put so much into. I hope she gets the necessary support at this difficult time and to thank her for all her hard work int the CTFC family where an important figure is no longer at the club.
Financial difficulties...obviously won’t be getting a new scoreboard anytime soon..
Paul H has said he's still going to pay for the scoreboard as it's for the fans. Just the training ground funding that will be put on hold. If the club is facing "financial challenges", maybe that is for the best at the moment anyway.
Heart goes out to Kelly, who as far as I know was doing a brilliant and very important job. To be let go, this shabbily, and just before Christmas, is appalling. The club has even acknowledged how important she has been, and yet still bins her off because of money. Couldn't we just get rid of some of the 48 strikers we have on the books instead?
The club needs to come out and clarify what they mean by "financial challenges" asap, or rumours will swirl and uncertainty will cause chaos. "I heard they sold and demolished the West Stand, and all the people and seats over there are just painted on now."
For me the appointment of Yems, a lower non-league manager who wouldn't get a job anywhere else at our level, was a sign that the Turks have had enough and are now downscaling as a precursor to quitting altogether. Very sad for those like Kelly with drastically affected livelihoods.
To be honest if I was Eren, and had put money into the club to keep at this level for 3 years but still got surrounded by fans in the club car park, I'd probably think yep I'll focus on something else instead.
It seems to me HK Paul is now in open conflict with the Turks. I for one hope he wants to take the reins and can get an amicable deal with the Turks together - and one which you would hope would involve a handing over, rather than Eren wanting his money back -as then things get very negative here indeed and we would be in to a holding the club hostage situation.
I would suggest this would be a good time for the CTSA to bury its hatchet with HK Paul, I'm not sure there are many other options realistically for us to remain a league club. You can't fight everyone and everything, focus on the priority of not squandering everything the club has achieved since 2007
I am sorry to see Kelly go she has given everything to make the club successful and now they sack her by email. I always understood that there were procedures that had to be actioned before you sacked anyone if these have not be put in place Kelly could take the club to the cleaners at a tribunal. Very sorry to see here go and i wonder what the knock-on effect will be with Paul and other sponsors. Good Luck for the future Kelly.

There seems to be loads of backroom staff/analysts or whatever over the season and recently comparing our full first team squad with Fleetwood's in that programme we had several more than them, and way too many. But surely that is down to Selim who seems to think he is running Chelsea where you hoover up lorry loads of players then ship out any number of them.
From the outside it looks as though Kelly and the operations side did a fine job under difficult circumstances but the football side has been pretty disastrous for several years and shows no real signs of getting better?
Maybe a proper "owners statement" is due and not just one written by Selim/Erdem telling the family to stick together, especially as we have just sacked one of the seemingly most important "family" members?
