Crawley Town play away to Grimsby Town in League Two of the 2019/2020 season, on SUNDAY 29TH DECEMBER 3:00pm kick off. Please keep all discussion about the match to this thread. Thank you and come on you Reds!
Form under Yems suggests play offs isnt impossible. A very good record to date. A couple of wins back to back and we can believe its possible. Watch this space. Yems has injected a ray of hope. A long shot but sometimes long shots go in.
its only a handful of games but to date Yems has a record teams in and around play offs would be happy with. My glass is half full (or maybe ive had too many!). COYR.
I haven't seen Yems' post match interview yet as recently back from the match. Hopefully he said something like - "defensively solid, offensively, hmmm"
The defence worked very hard; 2 good saves from t'cat and 2 great pieces of work from Lewis stopped certain goals. That and some shite Grimbo finishing.
Overall a loss would have been fair, but our last visit was a loss when a draw was fair, so swings and roundabouts, etc.
Offensively, not much to offer. Apart from the (well taken) goal, nothing really stood out.

1 loss in 5 though, not to be sniffed at.
Happy New Year everyone.
To sure up the defence had to be Yems opening objective. Its work in progress. We are moving in the right direction.
