I felt it was important not to lose yesterday, otherwise the 4-0 beating handed out to Northampton would have counted for nothing. We appear to have become difficult to beat under Yems which is progress in the right direction.
Our next 3 games are all against teams currently in the top 6. These will see how far we have come in a short space of time.

Stevenage, Oldham and Grimsby are teams on pretty abysmal form so two points from those three is pretty average/poor but then our away form overall this season has been pretty average/poor. Defensively away from home we seem to have tightened up but it looks to be at the expense of attacking intent, but then again not taking our few chances in games was probably one of the things that finished Cioffi's reign.
Yems seems to big up all the teams we have played no matter how rubbish they are so it would be interesting to know what he really thinks about how we have done so far, as I must admit I am often a bit baffled by his press conferences. I realise I am one of the keyboard critics (Yems certainly seems to dislike them!)as havent been around to get to any of the away games but just relied on comments from the likes of Alain Harper, Bruce T etc with less than favourable comments from some of the above games. Not sure I agree with his seemingly held opinion that if you havent been to a game you cannot have an opinion about the team?
