I disagree about the contract George.....He was royally shafted last time...what incentive for him to use contacts and bring in players only to be told 'thanks a lot goodbye' at the end of the season when he has done all the work. A year or two does not seem unreasonable.

in comparrison to others (past managers) he may well feel hard done by, but as a club I hope Crawley are rightly being cautious as we keep paying off managers. Yems has improved the squad, performance and results. No doubt about that. Can he sustain this? Lets see. Im in no rush and equally wont lose sleep if he walked out, but dont get me wrong im 100% behind him just not prepared to back virtualy all managers with long contracts.
Get your point ...just feel that unless he gets a contract will the current dressing room go with him, particularly those that need to go. No major argument...just a view
I went mental when Nadesan scored that goal, great game Grego-Cox really changed the tempo, just hope Palmer’s tweak is nothing serious. You reds, also agree with the pitch comments has complete turf care’s contract been cancelled or something?
Yes worrying how bad the pitch looks, yes there's been lots of games recently with us the women playing on there, but it was nowhere near as bad the last few seasons. I got slated by a few people for questioning the state of the pitch on a certain Facebook group, but it's becoming so bad now that alarm bells must start ringing, not sure what's going on here?
I think it’s a combination of LOTS of games and one of the wettest autumns on record. The big teams don’t have anything like the sort of games we do on our pitch to protect their grass, and they spend hundreds of thousands on their surfaces. I don’t think the state of it should be any surprise really

ive never seen a pitch cut up they way ours has though - it appears like you can see how the grass was rolled out and looks like not butted together well. There were what looked like a few holes developing in front of the west stand just before half time. Were they deep enough (or how long before?) a boot could get caught and an ankle turned?

Assume you weren’t a Crawley fan, or possibly too young to remember the pitch in the 2013/14 season if you’ve never seen a pitch do these things before. Five games in a row postponed if my memory serves me correctly. Whole parts of that pitch would rip up during games like it was a piece of carpet

I'm not so sure that the weather has been so dramatically worse this year compared to the last few years to cause the pitch to look THAT bad. The pitch has been in good condition all year round the last few seasons.
Those lines were showing during the preseason friendlies I assume it was sand filling the drainage lines and grass never roots in sand as it does in soil.
On another note how good was Morris again in that game, Top quality save after save just a shame he didn’t get help with the first two so they could practically walk the goals in. We probably would not have been able to win if it wasn’t for the two massive saves in the last 15 minutes
I know the pitch doesn't look that good at the moment but to be honest its still playing OK - doesn't cut up as it used to do when we had a wet spell of weather.

The issue here is you need to let the manager bring in his own players and do it his way. Cioffi didn't really get that.
Let's face if JY has more experience of football than all the "consultants" at the club. I really don't see why at our level we need to leave the signings to people who think Noli Cedere is an Italian centre forward.
What a game, what a comeback, what an atmosphere. I thought the roof was going to come off when the winner went in. Talk about breathing life into a season, we may only be lower mid-table, but what we’re seeing at home right now has given everyone a boost and every goal we score feels really worth celebrating.
The feel-good factor is very much back, all 6 of Yems’ home matches have been entertaining - even the 0-0 with Port Vale - and I think fans are enjoying their football at the PPS again.
When did you last year “Red army!!” being chanted as fans left the stadium??🤔🔴⚪️
