Yesterday wasn’t pretty but if that’s how we play to grind a point away to good opposition then so be it. It is very evident that Yems is tactically aware of how to play league 2 football, something we have not had from a manger for some time. 2 losses in 13 games is a great start and as others have pointed out we are actually hard to beat.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head there. The previous managers we’ve had since relegation to L2 apart from Yates didn’t have any experience at this level and although it wasn’t pretty under Yates at times he kept us up when we could’ve imploded. I think it’s hard to play passing football and get out of this league. We have to play to the strengths of the players we’ve got and what is the most effective football against the opposition and playing out from the back doesn’t work, playing two up front and getting stuck in in midfield with the likes of Bulman and Camara and getting it forward early to the strikers is the way to go.
