Crawley Town play at home to Carlisle United in League Two of the 2019/2020 season, today Saturday 15th February 2020 3:00 pm kick off. Please keep all discussion about the match to this thread. Thank you and come on Reds!
weather and pitch has played it part but credit to both team that have put some reasonable football together. Both had chances, a sitter for Utd missed. Even so far 0-0 but I think Utd have wind behind them 2nd half now.
Not bad but we were poor going forward today, Nathan Thomas was unreal for them and probably should’ve nicked a goal what he’s doing at this level I don’t know. Positive is we didn’t lose and are still defensively solid.
I think Dennis won that one! I could only applaud both teams off the pitch today. Yes Utd were dirty at times but overall both teams tried (& did) play a reasonable standard of football. My MOM was Reece a world class yes IMHO world class tackle chasing back second half. He worked really hard, but so did his teammates. Personally I would have preferred Morris to do short goalkicks second half than long balls but we got away with it. My guess is a few Utd fans were Southern exiles but I can only say given the weather, transport issues no doubt, an admirable following. It mightve been goalless but I was entertained and again under Yems we are hard to beat. Onwards and upwards.
As Mr Creepy said an entertaining game. Both teams should of scored. They failed because of my MoM Morris. We failed because our forwards were again mis firing. Pleased Francombe is getting a run in the team and gets better every game. A decent point in challenging conditions.
A battling performance but we are pretty toothless going forward lately but cannot fault centre backs and another superb professional performance from my motm The Cat. I think the wind increased 2nd half so Carlisle had the best of it but challenging conditions for all. In fact almost as challenging as getting anything positive or cheerful out of our manager. He must be more difficult to interview than Mourinho, with sarcastic remarks or on the defensive about his teams attributes. I think he is doing a very decent job as manager but his interviews are excruciating, feel sorry for the poor young lads trying to get something out of him.
It was genuinely entertaining with lots of potential jeopardy at any moment.. My only niggle would be that I felt we tried to walk it into the net, when conditions really favoured a less precise approach.
Happy with a point from one of those days, when one slip could very easily undo a lot of hard work.

Walk it in the net, what you mean Panutche had only his 2nd shot on target in living memory - decent save as well!😀
