A really strange day yesterday with seemingly many games under threat and a case maybe for the EF L to do something positive rather than clubs having to hope for the best. Then the only EF L game postponed for "spectator safety" is Swindon when they wait until most fans will have already arrived and have the same journey home before they call it off!! No logic of consistency?
Three games now without a goal in open play, and really it took another miracle display from Morris to get anything yesterday. I think we are in a mini dip because the creative link between the midfield and the strikers has crumbled of late.
We do miss Lubala not being quite in form because the ball sticks with him.
Anyone know what’s happened to Ash N-G? We could have done with his direct runs on goal in those conditions yesterday

No panic required the team have saved their goal scoring for next Saturday. As ive said in the prediction there, we are still creating plenty of chances, keep the faith ....goals will come.
Linking midfield with attack I do feel we have a tendency to retreat to two back lines of 4 and not get a tackle in midfield. I think the wind whipped up second half and did not help us. It wont always be like that. Going forward the midfield often start from a deeper position but players like Reece remind me of Greyhounds chasing a hare...he never gives up. More of that and we will bounce back Saturday.
It was genuinely entertaining with lots of potential jeopardy at any moment.. My only niggle would be that I felt we tried to walk it into the net, when conditions really favoured a less precise approach.
Happy with a point from one of those days, when one slip could very easily undo a lot of hard work.
Walk it in the net, what you mean Panutche had only his 2nd shot on target in living memory - decent save as well!😀
Pooch just needs no time to think about anything other than shooting.
Which also reflects my reference to the 3-4 occasions in the 2nd half when we delayed getting our shot away & paid the price.
Difficult conditions with the wind making it hard to predict the flight of the ball sometimes and the rain making this ball hold up a bit. Both teams had chances to score and it was the lack of composure from both teams that resulted in the 0-0. Probably a fair result in a hard fought game. Lack of goals at the moment is a worry, but at the back we look much more solid. I think this game epitomises our season- we are mid table!
