Great point. Great support. Good Nadderrrz goal. Exeter hit woodwork twice and STRONG wind in their favour 2nd half. Pleased with that. Yes, I know it's another draw, but defensively fairly good and t'cat only really had one save to make. COYR
We seem to be the draw specialists. Teams have to work hard to get something out of games against us. We need to convert draws into wins if we are going to kick on. Is the squad good enough? The owners seem to think so, so Yems hands may be somewhat tied for next season. Lets hope things continue to improve. The trendline is upwards its a steady but sure progression with only occasional bumps on the way.
Yem's post match interviews are a bit different to say the least but he's adulation of Exeter I thought was a bit demeaning of what our players had achieved today, I found it very strange.

I don't think Yem's comes across very well in his interviews, some of them he comes across as quite rude and arrogant, I know it must be boring being asked the same questions over and over again, but he could conduct himself better. Gaby was more likeable IMO.

the only trouble with Gaby was where he was talking from.... outta his backside!
Extremely pleasing especially given the remarks on the Exeter fans' forum - 6 pages pre-match and only two posts saying that Crawley could be a threat.
Other remarks were more dismissive, with most expecting an easy win, "untroubled", "straightforward" etc. Several called for their better players to be rested in anticipation of other games coming up.
One talked about getting this game out of the way and getting on with the important games.
It is this type of disrespect and intolerance that makes today's result even better.

JOHN YEM'S RED ARMY!
Haha the arrogance of the ‘mighty’ Exeter City fans. Truth is that on and off the pitch they may be bigger than us, but not by much. We were certainly a match for them today.

Great support for the team down there today, plenty of noise and a good atmosphere created by the terrace fans.
Nadesan was good, so was Danny, Morris and Powell when he came on as sub.
A really good result in tricky conditions, what with the soggy pitch and fierce wind in the second half.
Over priced tickets from Exeter, £24 they took from everyone for seating, then opened the terrace once everyone was in the ground..
Many fans then went to the terrace to escape the rain.
If terrace tickets could have been bought before entering, they were only £18, therefore many fans robbed of £6 each, ( bought a seat then stood on terrace ) because ticket office said terrace was closed !
Just with regards to the comments about John Yems. If you speak with him on a one to one basis he comes across as a friendly, decent knowledgeable bloke who knows his football inside out. He is never going to be a 'song and dance man' but he has a good sense of humour and is easy to speak with....not in the least arrogant.

That reflects my experience too Wodin. It doesn't help that he is a sarf london boy with a face like a camels arse in a sandstorm... but he can be a lot more fun than his public persona suggests !
I did think the interview after the game was odd and I don't mind his usual interviews. Always nice to give the opposition a bit of praise but it sounded like an marker for a job application.
