No denying i would love to see some meaningful live football on TV asap but is this guy responsible for cleating the supermarket shelves of alcohol in Southampton? Off his head ?
With the latest Coronavirus directive and only gathering (outside family household) in 2's imagine finishing matches 1 v 1 who would you pitch as an all rounder going 1 v1 for the Reds? My vote goes to Dannie.

I would go for Glenn Morris. He has shown creativity when forced by HK to play out from the back, he is not scared to challenge for headers as shown with that terrific stop with his face the other week.

"If it is confirmed before August that fans will not see the remainder of the 2019-20 matches at the Amex, a pro-rata refund off the monthly payments will be calculated for 2020-21"
Too soon to say perhaps but what will Crawley do if the season isnt completed and how might lost revenue affect the club?

I am a STH and I'd be happy to pay full price next season and let the club keep the money for any games missed this season.
I'd also be willing to contribute to a bonus fund for NHS staff , I think one should be set up, people contribute what they wish and then when this is all over, the government share it out among the NHS staff as a thank you bonus, they deserve it , big time !

only thing I would add is include NHS volunteers in there. I know they are not doing this for the money but its a teamwork thing and needs recognition too. Great post though.
They could always announce the sale of next seasons season's tickets which could help if there is any cash flow problems (I dont know of any problem). As for this seasons tickets then if we get football they could be used but if not then let the club keep the money. Having a club to watch at the end of the virus is more important than a few quid which we have already paid out. When applying for a ST there could always give to option for a NHS donation.
I have an awful feeling that we won't be seeing any live football for at least another year. I know they talk about slackening and re-imposing restriction at various times, but the elephant in the room is vaccine. If we could get football going again around a year's time, I still think this season should be completed. I reckon the only way of doing it sooner would be behind closed doors.

How about give free tickets to NHS workers and volunteers when this is over, get them to bring their ID and we can all treat them to free drinks in Redz Bar !

The problem there could be fans gathering outside grounds especially if promotion/relegation at stake. I doubt playing behind closed doors will happen.
As for season tickets I cant really see how any club can market any package at this unknown stage. What if say leagues complete the current season AND play next season but limited matches say play each other once only. League toss a coin/divide home and away 50% or as near as each. Clubs wouldnt know how to price things.
One problem will be players contracts. Delaying the season is OK but how many players will be under contract when the matches are eventually played. I can not imagine the play off finals taking place behind closed doors. Maybe the only solution is to abandon the season. Unfortunate if you are a Leeds or Liverpool supporter but great if you support Southend United.
