Insolvencies and matches played behind closed doors until 2021 (not my view but ......) Palios: Tranmere chairman expects 'double figure' EFL insolvencies - www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52292166
I would like to see the season resumed no matter how long it takes to restart, but I'm increasingly wondering if that will be possible. I wouldn't even be too shocked for the league to become three divisions, possibly with a fourth division at semi-pro level.

How about splitting the 3rd level into 2 A north and south divide. then have a play off between the 2 leagues for promotion to the championship.
it is looking more and more likely that this season will not be completed.

That would be a trip back to the past. I believe that a regional third tier system was in place a bit before I became more aware of football (that seemed to happen around 1966 - I wonder why). Promotion play-offs would make it juicier. Less travelling too, not that I bother much with away games. At the moment though, I'd settle for survival.
Null and void. Start 20-21 season when safe to do so,this means every team will start the the new season where they started the void season and nobody is any worse off position wise. Would love to see the north/south division brought back personally.
But at what financial cost to fans especially that have already paid for the matches?
There are many people who have slow and unreliable internet connection speeds still, which will include some season ticket holders that have paid for the games already and they should be given the choice between a free stream or a refund of the ticket price, because you buy a ticket to be AT THE GAME, having a stream of the game is not the same thing.
I know watching games on a streaming device is not the same as being there live but in these trying times you would be a lot safer and vulnerable spectators could live longer.
I am a season ticket holder and yes I have paid for the next ten or so games but if the club had to reimburse everyone for the games played behind closed doors it could send the club under. So I would be willing to forgo a refund to have a club next season.

If you don’t mind forgoing that money that’s your choice (a noble thing to do), but many fans will have effectively lost £50 of value of their season ticket for games they cannot attend. I don’t want the club to go under either, but I think fans should have the choice of having a partial refund of season ticket money or maybe given them a discounted season ticket next year.

I think there is reasonable arguement to spread the clubs goodwill around to those out of work as well as working in the key jobs. Whenever the new season starts Im certainly not expecting any ticket price rises and I think some premier league club may even be forced to reduce prices.
I think the temptation to get out and look through the gates by the turnstiles (or climb a tree etc) might be too great for some as well as keeping fans in their cars, be interesting to see if and how this happens though.
Away fans park up in a seperate area...so instead of a punch up do they anticipate bumper cars?

Personally, I'd be willing to let the club keep my season ticket money for the games I may not see, as they have struggled financially through no fault of their own.
For me it's important the club survives, after all, a few quid back to everyone may be critical for the club's survival.
Thousands have died, NHS and many others putting their lives on the line every day an old soldier and others giving to help others as an oldie I'll just be happy to still be around when football starts again if I lose a few quid supporting my club its a trifle compared to what others are giving.
I dread to think how my finances might be by the time we can turn up again at football matches. Maybe there will be a free allocation for the newly homeless.
