The pro-rata way they're talking about seems the fairest, so would mean 4/23 times the total cost for a season ticket holder. If I had a season ticket, I'd probably only claim the money if pretty desperate. For the south terrace the refund would be about £50 for an adult. That's a lot of dinners if in trouble, but no huge loss if not.
I won't be claiming my money back. I work in the NHS so still have a job and am being paid as normal. Hopefully as many as possible are able to do the same.

I am a terrace season ticket holder and won't claim the money back, if we all did the same it will help the club out. They've not put the prices up for a few years so they've looked out for us, now it's time we looked out for them.

Seeing as we are perched right next to the airport and the Town has had the largest job losses its likely there are more than 1 or 2 Reds fans that will have been affected and simply wont be able to do that.

I have been locked down in LA* for nearly 3 months & returning to Crawley was very strange, as the usually gridlocked roads were more deserted than I could ever have expected, this area is going to take far longer than anywhere else in the UK to get back on its feet.
But historically, football & community group activities are two sectors that have traditionally been increasingly valued & prospered during periods of economic depression.
Okay, you could actually make a similar point about gambling & drinking, plus it is never a straight comparison, as the alternative competition for a share of the reduced disposable income pot is exponentially greater in this age.
But - positive thought - there actually IS an opportunity for the club to become the identity & focal point for the region, in a similar way that more established clubs - particularly in the north - achieved, decades back in troubled times. They've made a good start with the freebies for Key Workers too.
You only have to see the TV schedules to illustrate that people NEED football in these difficult days...!
* Fans of "The Two Ronnie's" will appreciate the reference to Littlehampton.

Blimey... I reckon your medication must be very strong...!
I have never been so knackered in my life. I am now having respite after being locked down with a little chap who has just turned two, while his keyworker parents were busy.
I did keep an eye on you guys, but never had much to post, until i returned to Crawley & saw the magnificent reaction from so many in this thread, who put the club ahead of themselves.
It made me assess the desperate local situation and the major role the club can play in its revival.
