John the Gas will be pleased😂, I’m also happy he’s staying he can play on the wing in Defense or midfield and brings an attacking force to the side.
Pleased? PLEASED? Far from it, I’m bloody seething. This was a chance to bin him. There are plenty of available and better players out there to strengthen the Team and progress next season. Is his Brother stumping up his wages? Perhaps we’ll never know, but let’s not forget, he does clap the Fans🙄
Lewis is a team player, likely the sort that manager's regard highly... but it is often to his own detriment, as he spreads himself too thinly & leaves himself exposed to criticism at times (equally fairly & unfairly IMHO)
He has been a Fullback, Wingback, Wide Midfielder, Winger & even Striker on occasions.
I suggest he should be encouraged to specialise more, rather than be a jack of all trades & master of none.
I must admitt I am not one of his fans but maybe Yems can get him to cross to a target then he could be a usfull player. Will he just be a cheap bench warmer because since Yems became manager he did not get to many minutes game time. I know he got injured but his supposed recovery did go on a bit. Take heart JTG he could be the best bench warmer in the league so why not come and check if he gets selected.
I expect Sesay to start unless we get another signing anytime soon with Lewis as backup now Cogley has gone
Young is a better full back than Sessay IMO. Sessay might be better off in midfield.
Alex, you are very easily pleased.
Young can't tackle, can't pass or cross a ball to his own Team.
Apart from being a "Nice Bloke" that has a superb ability to "Clap the Fans", just what does he bring to the table? He'd even manage to drop the cruet set in all honesty.
Without him on the pitch , Crawley Town looked a far better side, that was harder to beat. Surely you can see that?

I disagree he can pass but like all players at league 2 level its not always accurate and likewise he can cross maybe not as many and as well as you would like but can anyone else do much better? I like his attacking style. I like his attitude. I like his ability - he is a fit athlete always prepared to work hard be accountable. Has far more good games than average ones and rarely has a bad game.
