I don't know if there's any connection with the release, but I read a small item in today's national press that Mr Meite was involved in a knife incident a while back. It was a tiny piece and a court report. I wasn't clear from reading it how culpable the law regarded him.
Meite hasn't contributed anything on the pitch since he's comeback. Was probably an easy decision to release him without the need for external factors.
Sendles-White should have been offered a contract as he's a good player at this level, I'd have him over Joe Mac who's injured most of the time, sadly one of them was already under contract. Sendles-White can consider himself very unlucky, maybe the current economic climate had a factor in it as we have 3 centre halves now, 4 would maybe have been considered excessive by the owners.

Another panic buy by Selim. Presumably his Opta stats looked good.

Rumour on Twitter so take with a pinch of salt but Palmer despite interest from Cheltenham and Walsall is due to sign a new contract with the reds. Good news if true π
