I suppose he could always come and give us a hand considering how we helped him get the job in the first place.
I remember Bournemouth away years ago when they still didn’t have the stand built and we got demolished the atmosphere was intense from their home crowd. I believe it was Brett Pitman that tore David hunt apart. Shame Howe lost the job but I could see it coming hopefully he finds a good club to settle in for a few years.
We also beat them 3-1 eight years ago thanks to the enigmatic Mr Barker. B’muff were so bad in those days Lee Barnard was their striker
Lee Barnard was ghastly. Hard to believe he once appeared in the Prem.
Then again I thought Steve Fletcher looked like a pub player in the Conference at Crawley but he went off and played another 150 games at Bournemouth and Plymouth.

Lee Barnard was one of the worst players I've seen at the Broadfield. He was as slow as a snail and looked well past it at 31. We had some awful players around that time- Simon Walton, Roarie Deacon, Andre Blackman, Chris Arthur, Conor Henderson etc.

The Problem with Lee Barnard was that, he was just too Gentlemanly and not aggressive enough on the pitch. Off pitch, a truly nice Guy without a bad bone in his body.

Well if Barnard is a genuinely decent bloke off the pitch then I feel a bit bad being so critical, but sadly nice guys finish last!
