On our second goal: why does their keeper pass the ball two yards sideways so the defender can kick it long? It leaves the defence sitting deep and allows the quick counter attack.
The same thought occurred to me Jim. Presumably if the keeper rolls the ball to a defender who has little choice about launching it upfield then he's still done his bit to contribute towards playing out from the back? :-)
When we were at Redz the other Saturday - John Yems said that he had never met Morais or spoken to him - he may be still contracted to Crawley but can’t see him being involved again at the club - I think the option is to mutually agree to cancel the contract
Admin suggestion: use the 'edit' facility in the top right of your post rather than posting again. Just a suggestion and the same can be said to all (including myself).
I dont disbelieve you but where did you get that from?
The information from the club is lacking on injuries ... and games at the moment.
Jim Baker
Yems mentioned it in an interview if I recall correctly, he’s out for 6 months. Can’t remember the specific injury.
He did a cruciate ligament in the match against Exeter back in February. He said he was told originally that he would be out for 18 months but that was then revised down to 12. At the point where he did his interview he still hadn't had the op because of the Covid situation. No idea whether he has had it now or not.
