Well, I doubt very much it's about results. Two wins, three draws - so unbeaten in fifth place. Okay, they aren't setting the division alight, but it's a very solid start. There's certainly some internal politics going on, but it's the sort of stuff we don't usually get to hear about.
It can be counterproductive having someone who's played at the highest level as manager, because they often struggle to adapt to the limitations of their players.
