We played some good stuff, rode our luck and dug in to get a result.
The Red was harsh but probably correct. First touch was not good, second touch was a lunge to win the ball.
I wouldn't like to be a Cat anywhere near the Cambridge team tonight. Glad we held on but they must be cursing their luck. One off the line, two against the bar (one from a yard out). They can definitely say they deserved something from the game.

It was lucky that the club open Redz Bar today to get some much needed income, as it looks like they won't be able to do that again soon, after tonight's lockdown announcement.
Great this week to have everyone commenting positively about results & performances.
Looks like Yemsy has pretty quickly taken on board & applied some classic advice from Mad Men character Don Draper: "if you don't like what is being said, change the conversation".
Good performance and a great result it’s just a shame that we have to watch what looks to be our best team in years on our iPads. Some of the one touch football we are playing is too good for league 2 🔴
Some of our movement and passing around the final third has been absolutely breathtaking of late, perhaps we finally has the right blend of players that gel. Powell has been immense, Hesanthalor seem an excellent Bully replacement and I note our wingers are actually getting back to support our fullbacks.

Spot on assessment, the movement of the forwards coupled with players who can pick a pass, ensures that we can work our way through a defence, which is something we have lacked in recent seasons.
Only worry - putting aside a global pandemic - is the impact of suspensions, injuries & the great English Winter which are all imminently poised to ruin our fun, but we do have a bit of depth to the squad this season...!

The last point is important, I made the observation last season that whilst Lubala was a fantastic player he seldom helped Doherty and he got tore apart.
Anybody know how serious Francomb’s injury is? Haven’t seen any comments on it. Looked like a dislocated shoulder
He tweeted that his arm is broken. No idea when he expects to be back.
Damn that’s gutting. Start of the season I was unsure what he’d done to be starter and captain, however he has really kicked on and been superb. He’s going to be a big miss
