Although we will only know the real impact when fans are allowed back... and things will have changed: - some may have lost the habit - some may be wary of being in crowds - some may not afford it anymore.
ADMIN EDIT(24/11/20) Some recent posts here have been moved to the thread 'New Season dates confirmed for EFL/Fans back in stadiums' (which is currently a sticky thread at the top of this forum) as the topic being discussed seems more related to fans back in the stadiums (the Broadfield) and this thread now has the additional reference to 'Non-league football'.
Following a non league team this year will only lead to disappointment. You watch them progress to the first round of the FA cup to draw a league club at home only to find that the match must be played behind closed doors. Once this pandemic is over i hope that people will realise that there is more to football than the premier league.

I already lost the habit a few years ago, Thad, when I felt that you (and others) were mistreated. I started doing other things on Saturdays, some of which cost me nothing, and watching football became a less frequent pastime. I was still going to maybe half a dozen home games per season when the epidemic hit.

I went to 10 different (and previously unvisited) non-league grounds in September and October. Saw some really good matches, very entertaining and keenly fought, was a shame I had to stop.
I visited a couple of non-league minnows too & enjoyed watching the football...
...but REALLY enjoyed the welcome... you are left feeling as though purchasing a couple of drinks at the clubhouse bar genuinely helps to make a contribution.
One other factor that never changes is that there are always one or two vital busy people, who miraculously manage to do just about everything behind the scenes to keep the show on the road, they are true unsung local heroes...!
