At the end of the day it’s up to Max, I’d prefer him to leave in the summer rather than the xmas window to get the job done and potentially get us play off places if results go our way. He’s a great player and can definitely go championship and maybe prem.

If he went to a Premier league club he would have to work his way into their starting line up at lest here he is guaranteed to start.........as a sub!

It's up to the player and the club. He is under contract, so if the club don't get an acceptable offer then Max won't have a decision to make....

As I have said earlier the club has a year’s option so worst case scenario is we have him at least one more season - no need to sell or think about it at all at the moment - in the short term the more he plays and more goals he scores the better for us
Hang on chaps... He has been in & around football clubs for a long time without making a breakthrough...
...he arrives with us & in just a handful of matches becomes the golden boy.
Of course he deserves credit, however a few football scouts might think a lot of that success is also down to us - a case of right club at the right time - and will want to ensure he can translate his sudden success here, to another club, before recommending him to anyone else.

It's happened a few times with us. Think KAG, hardly made an appearance for Charlton since before joining us... Now look at him
Apparently - I am told by a supporter of the club in question, but it is unverified - it was mentioned during Tuesdays Premier League match commentary on another Sussex based club... that Max has been linked with them...
...did anyone else hear it, or is my mate giving me a wind-up...(?)
Thad; I don't know which other Sussex based club there is !
The Daily Fail has him linked to Brighton, West Brom (discuss Crawley with KAG) and we have, apparently, turned down a bid which iwould eventually be worth £500k from Swansea.
Hints, rumours and paper talk. The truth...Lord knows.
Am I right in that I heard that if we receive a fee for any players , we will lose whatever financial package we have received from the Premier league bail out? For example if we sell watters for 500,000 we will have to give back 350,000 to Premier league.. so on that basis we would be getting 150,000 for watters.... That would not be that great so need to hold out for the million + add ons.
