In the queue at a very wet Peoples Pension Stadium. Ticket office about to open, currently about 40th in a rapidly growing queue.
JOHN YEMS' RED ARMY!
They arent picking up the phone..I guess people on person get priority...which is fair
I suspect they only have one line answering. The wait is painfully slow - about 10 people through in 50 minutes. Still, morale is high and nobody seems to mind too much.
I was about 15th in the queue and (just checked) paid at 09.23. There were perhaps 100 plus behind me in the queue, so I would imagine some will have quite a long wait. I did wonder how they were handling phone applications.
Took an Erdem and Joe to do it but queue cleared now👍🏻 The card looks great and the paper work with it has answered a few of my questions. A mask must be worn it seems at all times inside the ground unless you are exempt.(fair enough)
Got our memberships after getting in the queue early doors. Will be great to get back in the ground after such a crap year. At last something to look forward too!

Paper work? I didn't get any paper work!
Good to hear that the queue has gone and that people haven't had to wait too long in the rain.
Took about one and half hours all in - good natured queue, nobody was complaining and we just chatted and waited it out.
Once inside, there was one person on the phone, so if you are trying, you may be in for a long wait and it would probably be easier to go to the ground if you can.

Where did you get that from? These are the sorts of things the club MUST make clear. Will a shield suffice etc. Originally we were told once seated thats ok to take off or if eating/drinking. Chewing gum sales may be on the increase for anyone that doesnt want to wear a mask for 90 mins (and beyond)
"Season Ticket Holders need NOT purchase a membership as they will already be guaranteed a ticket having purchased at the beginning of the season. Unless already done so, they need to make the ticket office aware of their social bubbling arrangements in order to secure their ticket for matches. Click here for more information. STH will also be given first priority over the 1896 Club, CTSA & Reds Rollover members for cup matches." - the club appear to have updated the membership scheme details. Its not a moan CTFC but why not say that on the club website (updated) etc. As logic says once read why read again? Although I'm clearly illogical and did!

Who told you about the masks? Is the club masking the truth - no pun intended. There has been no announcement about this or were they going to rake in the money from membership then announce it? When we were going to return earlier in the season it was masks moving about not whilst in position so has this changed? The government have NOT stipulated masks to be worn all the time so I do not see it should be mandatory hasn't been at a few non-league matches I've been too so no reason it needs to be at the Broadfield stadium.

I'm intrigued to find out what the club has done to make you constantly angry at them? Your posts are so monotonous and still waiting for an ounce of positivity at some point. All clubs that had fans last night advised people to wear masks at all times. If it's that much of an issue to wear a mask just stay at home and do everyone a favour.
and this is the attitude why clubs shaft fans, because some people will accept anything. I'm all for positivity but if they club do wrong we shout about it.
a lot of the negaitivity come from poor communication like failing to make it clear ST holders still get priority over membership scheme.
RE:Mask advice, when you are sat down I expect it’ll be okay but the advice is from a bit of paper I received with the card along with the thank you letter
