651 STH + 400 membership scheme = 1,051. With 2,000 allowed in, does that mean 949 tickets on general sale then? As 2,000 is about normal anyway, including away supporters, does that mean that most people who want to attend will be able to?
Capacity is capped at 1308
A pity, but understandable in view of the ground's size.
Can someone please explain how this figure has been set?

I was a bit surprised too as I thought it was the lower of 2,000 or 50%. However, when you consider what the distance could be between bubbles at a 2,000 attendance, reducing that makes a lot of sense. I don't doubt that some mathematical formula was applied, but viruses can't do maths.
The figure has been set using the SGSA which, if you wish to read will cost you £150.00, and the social distancing rules (the 2 metre rule).
50% of the stadium capacity or 2,000 people is not 50% of the stadium capacity in normal times. It is 50% of capacity using the 2 metre rule or 2,000 people. The club have been out with their tape measures and worked out the capacity.
There was even an aside in a video the club put out that they were aware people were going to believe our capacity would be 2,000 and they would get stick for only letting in 1,350 people (or however many it is).

That makes sense now. I won't be going anyway until a mass vaccination program has been in effect for some time and is shown to be working well. I've already written off this season as far as attending goes, because I'm not prepared to risk it.

isnt that the normal crowd?, they obviously dont want to pay printing tickets they cant sell
Frustrating I know but Its hardly the clubs fault that tier 4 will be implemented. I guess nothing in truth this season, it will be a shame to miss the partnership of Watters and Nadesan but we need to keep the club supported.

Agreed. It's crap for us fans, but crap for the club too. Think we need to be a bit careful with refunds etc. Most important thing is that we still have a club to support when we finally come out of the back of this.
So with sussex going into to tier 4 from bixing day (no fans allowed)
What a complete waste time by the club and money spent by fans
Refunds all round i should hope
Glad i didnt i bother....
The club have said all along they will 'compensate' some how next season. We do not know what that is yet so its hard to comment. Except, if a supporter cant/chooses not to renew then I think the club need to look carefully at fair alternative 'compensation'. Everyone's circumstances will be different some may be happy to 'donate' the money to the club, others may be desperate for every penny to be reimbursed. Its cr@p that we haven't seen much live football so far but it's exactly that so far - the season isn't over yet and whilst it may be wishful thinking I am hopeful we may get to see some fans back towards the end of the season. Some were surprised we returned when we did. In this yo-yo world anything is possible. But per se yes a fair return is necessary and only right and proper. With that in mind I think of STH paying per match far more than a casual supporter (paying on a match by match basis) that has to be addressed, we just need to be patient and trust the club will do what they can.
