What a great occasion today was, 6 goals Reds coming out on top, plenty of opportunity for giving the officials grief (who doesn't enjoy that) and the club have done themselves proud. Well organised. Barrow were here to disrupt our play and in the end finished with 10 men that were never a match for us. Anyone know where Yems was?

Personal reasons according to Twitter. Hope it’s nothing serious and he’s well👍🏻
you get to visit the ladies...seriously the club switched the loos over....no standing at the urinals, so perhaps it was a case of more men visit the loo so why not switch them over.
Where did they do that?
I had to visit and it was all normal.

Never mind that, were the hand driers working, that’s the big question!? (One for the more long term forum attendees!)
It seems to me that we have a good group of players now, but our performances lack discipline, which I guess can be worked on. It's certainly entertaining to watch at the moment. Watched on ifollow with my son and we just knew Watters would get his third.
Anyway, we'll be there on Tuesday. Anyone go to Redz yesterday? How did that work out?

Great win yesterday. According to BBC, yesterday was the second successive game Yems has missed due to personal reasons. Maybe he’s self-isolating🤷♂️
Circumstances meant it was highlights only for me... But they perfectly illustrated the good, the bad & the ugly.
We appear to have a collective character flaw, that means we need a level of jeopardy & drama, in order to get our game flowing... and if necessary, assist the opposition in providing it...!
We left it late & did the job. Lucky for us Max Watters has developed outstanding natural predatory strikers instincts & has the people around him to exploit them.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon at the Sussex Theatre of Dreams.
It was a great feeling to be back in the stadium and a treat to see so many new players which we've not seen play live in a stadium before.
The good thing I'd say about watching ifollow so far this season, is that I actually knew who was who with the players and their capabilities so that helped in enjoying the live game.
Just a warning for anyone who parks in the business park next to the stadium, the main office car park where we park, was closed and the gate in the fence leading from that car park to the alley beside the allotments was actually padlocked shut. Not sure if that will be the case on Tuesday, but just be aware.
I thought Sesay played well, obviously Watters did, Hessenthaler was good, Nichols also and Nadesan showed good energy when he came on and could easily have made it 5 goals when he was through on the keeper just after Watters' last goal.
Six goals, a sending off for the opposition, two penalties and a hatrick.....in the words of Paul Weller...... That's Entertainment !
How the hell have we got him? He is quick but its the way he pulls away from a defender that caught my eye. Every forward looks good with a hat trick but the two or three yard bit of space he managed to give himself was very good.
As for the game. I think our midfield is wide open. That's why we concede goals. The actual defensive line ain't bad but too many players running at them and getting them turned.
Thought both penalties were harsh but a Barrow fan said they were nailed on on the telly. The sending off was 50-50 in my book. Looked as though he got the ball first to me but that doesn't always matter.
Some decent football in patches and some good goals.
I enjoyed that!

asked myself the same question Jim. The more important question is why did Doncaster let him go.😂 It also shows that we as a club have a great eye for talent and the staff and management of the club deserve credit.
If you go on the Doncaster forum there are 5 pages in 2 treads about Watters - was released because of COVID - but some of the supporters think that they will get him back, sell on clauses, on loan etc etc - most are pragmatic and say that the management cocked it up.
Alain; the amount of goals he is scoring Doncaster are going to have to get in a long queue. He signed for us as a free agent so Donny haven't got any sell on clauses etc.
Also, if you were a player would you want to go back to a club who as released you over other players?
