Playing withwing backs doesn't leave much space for a wide midfielder.
Other than that. I've no idea. I would say Tom Nichols works his socks of most games and will need a rest soon. Hesketh in the no. 10 role is worth considering.
Well it was great to be back in the ground, a small step towards some sort of normality in this crazy world we are all inhabiting right now. I thought the game was pretty dire from a Crawley perspective, their keeper didn’t need to make a save all night, and as others have said if it wasn’t for Morris making two decent blocks in the second half we would have lost the game. Ref seemed to blow every time a Bradford player hit the deck? The old scoreboard covered up by a tarpaulin looked a bit tinpot, I thought we were getting a new one paid for by our friend in the Far East, or is that old news now?
Most of the important observations have already been made. Morris at fault for their goal, but atoned with 2 good saves in quick succession. Bradford stuck to the job and closed us down very effectively in their half (as did Grimsby for most of that game). Hence our zero shots on goal! We've good, hard-working footballers in players like Matthews and Nichols, but it seems to me we miss that ability to do something surprising, that, say, Camara provided (even if it was occasionally surprisingly bad )
Anyway good to be back, although some patchy compliance I thought with the new rules.
Make the most of it, guys. The way the infection rate is rising in Crawley & district, I wouldn't be shocked if the Leeds game was back behind closed doors.

That is worrying in many respects. From the football perspective it would be extremely disappointing to not have fans in for such a big game and without the fans the odds must stack even higher against the club. Thankfully the TV coverage will help but the revenue from an all pay for match will no doubt be a loss the club could well do without.
I've just seen the brief highlights on youtube. It seemed funny seeing home supporters celebrating on the terrace at that end as it hasn't happened in about a decade.

National lockdown inevitably coming in January after this five day Christmas shambles, nobody will be at grounds from Jan would be my bet

Yes Erdem addressed this in the director update a week ago, they’re waiting for plans to be approved and health and safety stuff. Was due this summer but for obvious pandemic reasons they haven’t had the chance to sort it out.

Yep Daily Mail reported the stats about it. Not the most reliable source but if you put two and two together with the infection rates rising rapidly here and this new “mutant/variant” form of the virus in the south east the government will put us into tier 3 to contain it. A shame as I really enjoyed being back last night and Was looking forward to the Leeds game
