FT 2-1 Great result in the end. First half even. Both sides scoring own goals. Second half Orient come flying out the blocks and had a couple of decent shouts for a penalty waived away. Game turned with Nadesan coming on which linked our attack together and saw us finish strongly with Nadesan again running in behind and another assist laying it on a plate for Watters with a simple finish. We look a much better team with all 3 attackers on.
Played like a different side in the second half. Loved the 4 at the back but still suffered with lack of movement in midfield. Bulman Sesay and Nadders changed the game and the reason why we won. That being said orient didn’t create much apart from Brophy who ran past Sesay and Davies like they were training dummies. Yems missing again with John the Gas’s favourite person in the world stepping in with Bradbury ,worrying and hope he hasn’t caught covid. All in all good win and we’re now in the top half of the table, you reds.
Morris has been a great servant of the club BUT now i think time has caught up with him. He is now out of position a lot and a habit of pushing the ball out in front of him has crept in. The indecision seems to create panic at the back. Sorry Glen!
Don't think his time is up at all! He has saved us (no pun intended) so many times. Look at the Bradford game and even some points today..
Couple of things changed the game around today. Their manager decides to go for it and took of their left back just as we brought Nadesan on and Bulman calmed everything down.
Didn't think Watters had the best game in the world today but then he pops up and scores the winner. He should have scored after that too.
Re Morris; I do think he has come back from injury a little tentatively but form is fleeting. I have faith the class will shine through shortly.

They later conceded that it wasn't him that they had spoken to. He had a hat and mask on and responded to the name John though
Great result, of course. People talk about game management, and that last 20 or so mins, with Danny and Sesay coming on, was brilliantly managed.

I hope you are right. But age catches up with all of us eventually.
So, I know it's a tired trope to refer to previous players in reference to current crop. But Watters/Nadeson = Tubbs/McAllister. Always thought the latter never got the plaudits for enabling Matt's goals.
He's at Alresford Town now, in Wessex Premier League
Regarding the commentators deciding it wasn't Yems.
I turned the commentary off after 25 minutes so I didn't hear that. Not something I normally do but they were aggravating me.
Regarding Glenn. I thought he was playing well before the injury. I also think he got some unfair stick regarding the Bradford goal.

It was bizarre. The co-commentator said he'd talked to him before the game, then conceded it must have been someone else. Would love to have heard that conversation!

Yeah, they were annoying us too.
I’d glad you guys said that, I was thinking that co-commentator was speaking nonsense all game! Almost switched it off myself even though I like listening to the audio.
