FGR like to play possession football so we are likely to have to keep our shape and make sure we don't doze of as the ball goes along their back line for the tenth time. When we get the ball we will have to look after it without being drawn into a game of "who can keep the ball the longest".
Yes, we have had some snow but it's melted down at the lower levels. There is still some on the hills round here though so it probably has settled on top of the hill where their ground is. Maybe this is a good omen. The only time I have ever seen us do well there was in our conference promotion season when we played them at New Year. It was a nice sunny day when I left here but there was a lot of snow by the time I got to Nailsworth. From memory, they cleared the lines on the pitch and dug out some orange footballs... and we beat them 3-0. A similar result would be nice, if only for the shabby way they have treated away fans in the past.
I guess the other problem is that it has been so wet over the past week or so. Gloucestershire got absolutely pasted last Wednesday and it rained solidly for about 30 hours, causing lots of flooding and road closures. We then had the storm at the weekend and more rain/snow overnight last night, so just getting to Nailsworth may be problematic.

True enough, those banjo pluckers are miserable hosts. Strange place, it quickly turns from welcoming rural idyll to bleak & windswept as you head up the hill.

Country Folk with Country Ways
Half-right... applied to any Nailsworth football fan... ..."Country" generously contains one syllable too many...!
The village/town itself is actually quite nice and a favourite place to visit - at least it was pre-Covid! :-) It is quite gentrified in some ways and was the place our own dear Duke of Sussex used to go for all his fancy dress party requirements! :-)
Weather update - it has been sleeting quite heavily down here at low level for an hour or so now. My one prediction for this evening is that it will be flipping cold up on that hill by 7pm. Maybe not the sort of conditions you want to be stretching a tight hamstring?

Thanks for the update. Seems likely game will be on then. I've delayed my ifollow purchase just in case it was called off today.
