3-1 down...that has really p1ssed me off after we gave it a real go. Lacked quality for the final ball. Some dreadful ref decisions and a useless cameraman.
Cambridge are a dirty team and nothing special. The pitch was awful like the ref playing advantage could see we hadn't gained anything would he bring it back for the free kick, no. The ref let too much go lots of little knocks he missed awful. We lacked the killer instinct. But credit to Yems who made timely substitutions and we had a real go - we were in this for so much of the game for that a huge thank you as my interest so vastly retained. As soon as United hit the 3rd against the run of play it was game over. We have 2 home games coming up and if we win both we are back in the play offs or thereabouts. 4 points may be enough anything less I think we'll look back today at the game that started the end of our play off hopes.
You can have a go at individual players (and my wife will tell you I did) but as a collective we were not good enough.
What has happened to our forwards? Yeah, ok. Nadesan injured but to have to bring on Rodari (no blame attached) when we are chasing the game is ridiculous! Where is German? Where is Ashford? Players who have played in the league before today. Putting that pressure on a lad who has just joined the club and has been playing his football 3 steps below is not fair.
All those changes albeit forced didn't help nor I thought did the formation. We seriously lacked width forcing Tilley often wide. I have always thought Watters, Nicholls, Nadison - play 2 we'll be ok anything else I'm less confident. Something was missing in the middle upfront. We need two wins at home now. Shame no fans to add a 12th man.

Disappointing performance. They started well and took the lead then we responded shortly after with a very well taken goal after a great move. We should've kicked on from there, but Cambridge finished the half strongly and went ahead just before HT. Second half we huffed and puffed, but it was a bit disjointed out there, we lacked ideas going forward and lacked any width at all. Then they wrapped the game up with a third on the break. 3-1 Cambridge.
Never got hold of the game today. I think the formation was wrong today, it just didn't work at all and too many new players coming in as well.
We'll see in the next month how our season will pan out. 6 points off the play off's now.

Wah, wah, wah, wah.π probably best to look at the failings of YOUR team rather than take a swipe at a team that has just handed you your arse on a plate and sit top of the league. Guess you take your wins where you can get them hey. Suck it up son.

You were playing it in the corner in the last 5 minutes- hardly the sign of a confident and accomplished team. You managed the game well, I'll give you that, but it was hardly the rampant victory you described!
After giving away an awful first goal and then drawing level with a brilliant team goal we went back to our old problem of defending too deep and giving them control of the midfield we were second to the ball with their keeper having little to do compared to Morris who must have been MOM again.
Morris MOM agreed, even though he looked a bit unsteady he kept us in it as much as possible. Agree with you Jim where is German? I believe Ashford is injured though so that would explain his absence. We could also do with Grego-Cox to add to our forward force as I believe heβs almost match ready now. Even Galach could have been a better substitution as I thought heβs looked good in pre season. What about Tarryn as well? Lots of people missing

Exactly playing it in the corner in a panic because Manure boy your dirty lot knew we were the better team .

Not sure what you problem is; it's not as if anyone posted it on the Cambridge forum.
