The January Transfer Window was Awful. The New Players are All Crap. Betting on Crawley is Easy. If Wright or Wright Start then do not bet. If more than 1 of the January Newcomers Start - Do Not Bet! Hopefully John Yems has learnt by now and he needs to put the Newcomers on the Bench or in the Stand! What a Crap January Transfer Window it was! If John Yems still has a Job Saturday and reverts back to the Old Players (NOT ANY OF THE JANUARY NEWCOMERS) we will beat Exeter! Get your Money down! Otherwise we wont!
Someone needs to leave the Crawley Management for VERY BAD deals in the January Transfer Window. I agree with above Wright & Wright are Wrong & Wrong. the Other 3 Newbies are not much better. Nicholls & Nadesan are so so so much much much worse without Watters. Geez its painful watching, painful listening & painful seeing Wright on the Teamsheet most games. The game he didnt start v Colchester we won!
What Owner would ruin promotion chances for £1M. An Owner who wants out or is running short of funds. Yes, he's done okay for a few years, he has funded the club somewhat over the last 3 years, but why did he not sell Watters at the end of season or sell in january with a contract to sell him in June to new club. Crazy decision by CEO & Owner. Can we get the current views now of Erdem Konyar regarding that silly statement he put out on the 1st Feb 2021 Regards 'BEST EVER JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW'. I have spent £7,000 supporting Crawley Town, but not a Penny more, whilst this Ownership are in Charge!

Well Done John Yems Yesterday. He is finally listening to me by leaving out 'Wright' & 'Wright'. With alot of matches coming up in a short space of time it will be tempting to play several different players. Avoid the Temptation John. Even if Tsaroulla & Hesketh are not fully fit yet, they are still a far better option for 55 mins each. Rodari & Tilly dont seem upto the Grade yet, so avoid playing them also at the moment. Infact only Maguire-Drew out of the new boys seems up to the Grade. Stick with the old boys John and we will climb that table.
Decent starting line - THEN Tilly & Wright on in 65th min. Not 1 shot between the 68th min & 88th min. Out Muscled 2nd half, Outclassed 2nd half, Manager Out Done 2nd half by their Manager with 2 silly substitutions. You dont put on Wright & Tilly when chasing the game. Geez its painful.
I Agree with the Above - Decent Starting Line Up then Bad Substitutions. Whats with bringing on Wright & Tilly (they are both not up to the grade). Start with Davies in Defence, Move Francomb up into Midfield (he is your 3rd best goalscorer) and keep the same line up and we will start climbing the table. We are running out of games, only 16 left, Wright & Wright are '0' for '7' at the moment, please dont start them or bring them on again.
It took 9 games to play the correct team. Today against Tranmere was the correct starting line up. No Wright1, No Wright2, No Tilly, No half fit Tsaroulla, No Rodari. Please John keep picking that starting line up for the rest of the season. You might have missed the Play-Offs now but at least it has finally sunk in.
Pleased John Yems has finally got the right starting XI now, but so many points have been wasted playing Josh Wright and other January Recruits during Jan & Feb. Yes, Maguire-Drew is ok but the other new recruits suck. Alot of talk about how good Nichols & Nadesan have been recently, but the main reason for this decent run is John Yems has started playing Hesketh, Davies & McNerney. These 3 are making the main difference. More points were wasted selling Max Watters before the end of the season. So how many points could we have if all had been different. At least another 12 points - oh that makes us '59'. Oh thats makes us Joint Top. Geez.
I was reading somewhere Crawley need £200k to pay off the rest of the Josh Wright Contract. That was Bad Business in January! How much to pay off the rest of Craig, Tilley & Maguire-Drew Contracts? Does anyone know this? I suspect perhaps another £400k? Hmmmm I can see the Watters money will be soon used up paying off bad signings ...

Having been a season ticket holder @ Pirelli Stadium for the last 14 years I am always keen to keep an eye on ex-players.
Lets just say Jake Hesketh is the greatest ever Midfielder I have seen at the Pirelli Stadium (Home or Away) teams. He has been plagued with injuries for years - had he not I am sure he would be the Premier right now. His first game after a niggle for Burton he was average, his second game he was reasonbly good, his 3rd,4th,5th,6th & 7th games he has by far the best player on the pitch.
I even had a Bet on Crawley this season in October @ 50/1 odds to win the league. I thought if you could get 35 matches out of him and the Watters bloke continued to improve it would be a good bet. But unfortunately that didnt happen and that Watters bloke was sold.
What a shame for my bet and for your team. What an awesome talent he potentially is if he could string together 20 matches on the bounce!
Having seen latest update from Erdem, I think its clear that our policy remains unchanged to try to find promising players and sell them as soon as they have value. He believes this is good financial business for the club and while, it is on the face of it hard to disagree it remains my view that selling Watters cost us dearly on results and this policy will overtime mean we slowly but surely drop back to the Conference as ultimately we are not investing in the future. I'm so glad we have Mr Yems onboard! Having said all of that I will be once again getting a season ticket and looking forward and cant wait to be seeing the team play again and given the direction mentioned above, will be delighted with any finish in top half next year.
