There has been no confidence, desire or passion these last few games. Don't worry another 17 points should be enough for us to stay up. Seriously with Sesay & German apparently on the naughty step, the continued absence of Bulman and Nads only getting 7 minutes tonight has Yems lost the dressing room?
I don’t buy this argument that Watters departure has affected the team badly and is one of main factors in the deterioration in performances and results. We’re just not creating chances at all right now. The midfield set up doesn’t work. We have two holding players and no creativity. Having a decent striker can only get you so far when you don’t put any balls in behind or crosses in the box. I think our squad is far too big right now and we’ve used too many players, we’ve been chopping and changing recently and that really hasn’t helped at all. Just look at how many players we’ve got in the squad according to wiki en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crawley_Town_F.C. This is too much for a mid table League Two team.

Not creating chances yes. However, a big reason we were so successful before was Watters playing up top with Nichols and Nadesan off of him. Tom Nichols can be great, but he is not a player who can play isolated up front as he did last night. He needs to be the man linking the midfield to the attack. Not replacing Watters with another striker was a huge mistake
Team selection has been an absolute mystery. Dallison left out was inexcusable. Bullman where is he? What will Greggo-Cox make of it all when he is fit to return? Jake Hesketh? what happenned there? Oh and what happenned to Dean Cox?
Cox left ages ago.... like when Kewell left. He was signed off due to personal issues then his contract was terminated?
Dean Cox is playing excellently for Eastbourne Borough, who after 5 games unbeaten (beat Steve King and Dartford away last week) are currently 3rd in National South - he and Chris Whelpdale in midfield, Cox made 2 goals for him as we beat Billericay 4-2 last night after going 2-1 down first half

We’re just not creating chances (Take a look at a video of Watters goals this season. Its surprising how many of our goals involved Watters in the build up or him making the chances for himself) at all right now. The midfield set up doesn’t work.(Agree it was working better than now but part of that is due to not having a target man to play to and hold it up or down the channels to run onto. This makes it a lot easier for the midfield or defence to find a pass). We have two holding players and no creativity (see previous). Having a decent striker can only get you so far when you don’t put any balls in behind or crosses in the box. (We put crosses into the box plenty of times yesterday but had no player getting on the end of them, taking a gamble or being sharp enough and picking up the second ball). That Chris Whelpdale gets around. I hope his nuts recovered quickly from David Hunt's ministrations.

I was one of many who shouted at him to stop play acting and get on with it.
When I found out what had happened I was surprised he ever moved again...I'm not sure I would have! I still wince for him now.
