We now find out with the Covid Roadmap that the season will be finished the week before crowds are allowed back into sports stadiums.
This raises the question of what the club should do about compensating Season Ticket Holders
If I look at my personal situation having paid £400 for which works out at just over £17 per match, we got into 2 of the 23 matches and given that i-follow is £10 per match I reckon I am owed 21 x £7 =£147
I would be happy to have that discounted against a 21/22 season ticket.
There must be multiple different personal scenarios, what are peoples views on what the Club should offer.
The club must offer that in a cash refund and not assume all STH can/will renew. Definately the difference between what a match by match non-STH should be due.
However, if fans may be let in mid May then the club needs to hold back and ideally if the season rolled on a little longer all clubs could fit in at least a couple more games with fans in attendance. That though will only be for STH and still many will I acknowledge miss out.

50% of capacity or 4000 whichever the lower...not just sth then. Good news if they can stretch the season a bit although unlikely.

It depends on how they calculate the capacity. Last time, apparently, it referred to the capacity if social distancing was practised, so it might mean half of that number.
In response to the first post why should the i follow cost of £10 per game be deducted this is something that has not been put forward by the club as a substitute to a live game or at a cost to be deducted from our season ticket as far as im concerned i paid £400 for 23 live games and was only offered to go to 2 games so 21 games x £17ish is £357 which i would want as either a cash refund or credit against next season.

ps Parking should roll over to next year
My thinking was along these lines too. I am happy to make some kind of payment for the free ifollow access. I just assumed maybe giving existing season ticket holders something like a 50 per cent off next season “donation option” would about cover it. People would have the right to a refund of 21 games if they want so it would be up to the individual. But if the club and supporters club made some kind of pitch to help out the club, then there might be positive take up

I am sure I read somewhere way back when that an option would be a discount off of the 21/22 renewal price.
And to be honest I for one was well aware when paying up that this was not going to be a normal season.
Dare I suggest that the play-off / final may have crowds though ?
Refunds should be issued once the season is competed as its possible fans may be let in before the end. I agree with above remarks the difference between what season ticket holders pay and casual match by match fans must be offered in cash terms or money off next season as a choice to the ticket holders.
I-follow viewers don't get a guaranteed seat for next season so not like for like - surely a premium in there somewhere that benefits season ticket holders? Anybody purchasing a season ticket this year knew what they were likely to face so full refund would seem way to generous.

I disagree with the comparison point you are making. The purchase was for this season not next. Following your logic if we had no pandemic are you saying that season ticket holders should pay MORE for matches and the benefit is they get a guarantee season ticket the following season? Season ticket holders have always paid LESS across the entire ticket season. They pay a lot of money upfront.
That’s right, so if you say ST holders should be encouraged as a support gesture to pay something around 8 quid for each ifollow game that then comes out to about 50 per cent refund you would get back if you decided as a fan to make this gesture to the club. Some fans are well off and can probably write off the whole amount, many others live pay check to pay check and will be justifiably within their rights to claim their full legal entitlement

Looking at the thread UHTRED seems to be close in my mind, any more doesn't seem warranted. In answer to your question which is a very valid one, I chose not to renew my long standing season ticket this year given the pandemic and therefore have relinquished the seat where I have built many friendships over the years. My point was that there is some benefit to paying for a season ticket other than getting cheaper football - the seat guarantee does have some value.
When everyone receives their refunds please remember that the club will not be able to afford those transfer targets in the summer so no whinging on here about the lack of investment please.

True, however I'm not sure many additions will be needed anyway. And most clubs in L2 will be in that position.
