Anyone starting to worry about us getting sucked into a relegation battle ? The bottom 3 all won midweek and we are now 12 points from the drop zone.. I have huge concerns now and fear we will be the team that gos into freefall between now and the end of the season.. We have just had our run of easier fixtures but not done very well out of it which is a big worry, have watched the last 5 games and feel very deflated now and cant see how we can get out of this rut and I dont think the manager knows how to get us out of it either. After signing so many midfielders in the window it is now that area where we are weak and it's the pre window players who are the scapegoats.. Dont want to get relegated but the one consolation for me is that I miss non league football and being back in the conference would be a hell of a lot more fun than this constant struggle in a northern based league 2..

No I am not starting to worry! We maybe 12 points from the drop zone but on the flip slide we are only 8 points from a play-off spot. We won’t be relegated and probably won’t make the playoffs. I would estimate our final league position to be on a spread between 11th - 17th. How would the status of non-league football be fun compared with being a football league club? I do agree with your Northern based comment though. Although if Torquay and Sutton get promoted and Wimbledon , Northampton, Swindon & Bristol Rovers were to come down than that’s 6 less journeys on the M6 to consider 👍
I've never really taken to Yems based on he's surley attitude in earlier pre and post match interviews, yes he will always be the man who discovered the million pound player and took the club to our best FA cup run let's hope he doesn't become the manager who takes us into relegation.

A great result and a good performance yesterday
One swallow doesn't make a summer though, and we have recently shown that we are more than capable of churning out some real dross.
I do like Yems' approach to points bagged: we are now X further away from relegation.
We are certainly in a better position now than we were on Saturday morning, but I shan't be counting any chickens just yet and am taking a keen interest in the results of the bottom ranked clubs for the time being
