Great title. As an incurable cheapskate, I have just bought the Kindle version. I hope it's okay to mention on this thread, but I found My Cup Upset a good, funny read too - about those Geordie guys who followed the winning team from the previous Cup round and ended up at Crawley when we had that abandoned game against Bristol Rovers.
I'm resurrecting this thread to say that reading a load of this today had me totally engrossed between Crawley and London on the train. It's a decent read.
I've been pretty busy writing a load of my own work so haven't yet completed Noli Cedere. I've got up to what looks like it's going to be the best part football wise, and we all know when that was. It brings home to me what a diverse lot football supporters can be as I've had a totally different life from Steve having lived on my own for a large chunk of my adult life and avoided religion because my early experiences were awful - culminating in my being ostracised at 16 because I would no longer participate in my parents' brand of madness. I am genuinely delighted that some people have positive experiences from religion and family.
To anyone wondering, I regard Noli Cedere as a worthwhile read, not just for Crawley Town supporters but it may be of interest to supporters of other teams as I'm sure they would empathise; Nick Hornby's Fever Pitch was largely about Arsenal, and even that was good.
