the kick off time will alter but the day may or may not - simple simon of course the length of service will have a factor but i expect your knowledge of all things will have already factored that in
Shouldn't you be blaming John Yems?
Shouldn't you engage brain as the match has been moved away from Saturday.
I suppose there is more room for flexibility when movement of supporters isn't involved, and it gives both sets of players and staff a proper weekend off if they aren't training until the Monday. I imagine the officials will be glad of having the opportunity to do something at the weekend as well. People are allowed to travel for days out now for the first time in ages, so Friday evening kick off looks a good idea from a human perspective.

The fault clearly lies at the door of Ziya Eren, surely it's not expecting too much for him to offer the Queen a suitably large sum of money to rearrange the funeral to a day without football fixtures, another example of how mean he is and how little he does for CTFC
I really don't understand the thinking behind the Cheltenham game being the only game being brought forward to Friday. We played away midweek and also were away on Saturday meaning more travelling and less training time. Cheltenham didn't play on Tuesday and were at home last Saturday. Surely that gives a huge advantage which would be understandable if all fixtures had been moved but it's just us??? Neither Stevenage or Mansfield played midweek but they keep the Saturday slot, I know there are others factors involved but surely fair treatment of both sides involved has to be up there.

Gives both sets of players and coaching staff the rare opportunity of having a weekend off if nothing else. Also an extra days rest for both teams ahead of playing away next Tuesday.

I get the above BUT why 6.30pm? It's bad enough bringing these games forward to 7pm.

What an enormous shame that the Duke of Edinburgh is no longer with us, his tactical brain would have been perfect alongside John Yems, make a bit of a fuss, get the fixture altered, then roll over the league leaders, genius, if the Queen is similarly astute then Mr Eren ought to be offering her a consultancy contract without delay for next season, consideration could also be given to the dubious Prince Andrew as the clubs agent and to Mr Harry Markel as Superintendent of Club Toilets
