So Notts County into the playoff semi-finals then. Hartlepool v Bromley today, fingers crossed Bromley can spring a surprise having crept into the playoffs on the final day (my agenda anyway, so we have another southern club in the division).

what a mare chesterfield had with their keeper! What plonker doesn’t acquire a backup keeper!

Must be a devotee of a certain manager we had in League One who obviously thought it a waste of resources to have a second goalkeeper on the books! :-)

I remember a mid-week game away at Folkestone Invicta and we had a very overweight Steve Duly on the substitute bench. Thankfully, he wasn't called upon !!

To be fair, John, it would have taken a pretty decent shot to bypass him! :-)

I’m sure we told the Folkestone fans that he was the coach driver in the warm up - not sure if this was the game that we had two french lads play as well - who had come across the channel that day - jb can you recall.

I'm pretty certain that the late Ernie Cooksey made his debut for the Reds that night, too!!
