Someoneneedstogo: I actually think we should have tried (maybe we did) to get in another striker in, maybe on loan after we sold Watters. Ashford and German are not getting anywhere near the team so to go with two strikers was a little foolish.
What you and others don't seem to get is that Hesketh was injured. To say we didn't win games when he didn't play is the same as saying we should have picked Mason Mount. Yems cannot pick players who are unavailable.
Now, am I in the Yems is great camp? No, but to criticise someone for something they cannot change is like moaning about it raining on your picnic.
Yes and Eric Whitington, Phil Basey, Brian Gregory, Terry Robbins have all long since retired. It's amazing that we have ever won another game since then, isn't it?

I think he gets it okay Jim. It's just RR&R in wind-up rant mode where he conveniently ignores logical facts or questions. Whether it is being done as a supreme wind-up to get everyone frothing at the mouth is open to debate but sadly the effect is likely to be the same as with the previous board in that people will get fed up and stop reading it. It's a shame because occasionally there are some valid points in the middle of the ranting.

Have you guys read the very interesting post made by the Burton fan on the help forum. I knew he was good, I didnt realize potentially he was that good. very interesting read.
yes i noticed how he kept getting better and better each game he played. very impressive. I hope John Yems gets him for next season even if he only plays 15 games - would be worthwhile. i think even only half fit, probably still effective in league two.
