We are unbeaten against Scottish teams away - Greenock Morton, Albion Rovers and Ross County when we went on tour to Scotland when Steve Evans was manager - we even took a game at Stirling v Partick Thistle and got a lift back on the Partick’s supporters coach to Glasgow.

i've always been interested to know how to compare the std of the Scottish football leagues to English leagues. Its hard to know with pre-season matches as teams can field arguably under-strength teams, trial players etc.

I've watched quite alot of Scottish football over the years...live as well not on sky!...and think we would be comfortable in their championship. A friendly against a Scottish premiership club would ba a welcome change from the usual fare on offer pre season.
Hardly an inspiring list of pre-season fixtures. Perhaps it's a ploy to play teams we think we should beat to install confidence and a winning mentality??
Last season we struggled against lower placed teams. We clearly need to find ways of breaking these teams down. Maybe this is why all pre season friendlies is against lower ranked teams.
I was at the game last night, they did OK albeit against very limited opposition in my opinion. Owen Gallagher and Jack Payne looked good out of the new signings, Harry Ransom did have a couple of shaky moments but hopefully that's just due to fitness. None of the trailists looked too impressive though
