Cut their losses on Watters? Poor bloke hasn’t been able to play with Moore scoring for fun! I Blame the management for deciding to buy him in the first place. Isn’t he also on a three year contract?! Won’t be a cheap purchase for them.
I know there was a fair bit of "lack of ambition" type criticism at the time of the sale...
...but doesn't this clearly illustrate why we had little choice except to cash in while the opportunity was there...(?)
I enjoyed watching him play, i thought he was a very useful 'weapon' in our Arsenal and whilst he looked capable of joining the Arsenal, as a fan I don't know enough about the financial structure and amount held in the piggy bank so I was dissapointed he left. I can't say much more other than if CC want to loan him out Im sure CTFC would welcome him back. I certainly would.
I met John Yems outside the ground when I purchased my season ticket and he told me the money the club got for Watters saved the club in his words. Obviously I was disappointed to see him go but we had our best period of the season when he was actually injured and getting £1m for a guy we only signed on a free 3 months previously was good business in the end.
If he was available on loan I would take him, however I would be nervous that he wouldn't turn out to be nearly as good as his was previously (mainly because players rarely do well when they return to a club for a second spell)

I totally agree on you. I mean 1 million is much money and I think it really was good business in the end. Also agree with taking him on loan.
