Its become a consistant display of inadequote football ability to compete at the level we are at. Dont give me all those injury excuses as all clubs have them. The piggy bank is clearly empty that the club are sending players like Tilley out on loan. What silly billy sent Tilley away? 12 goals conceeded in 2 away games smacks of relegation material. Thankfully only 2 go down but it can so easily be Crawley the way we are playing and being managed.
Im not pointing the finger at Yems. Though his stupid post-match remarks just support the argument the club are relegation material. I will not criticise the owners that are funding the club. Clearly they dont shop at tailors that have trousers with empty pockets. I do not despite dire performances blame the players as Im sure they try their best. I just believe its all doomed to fail and the club is in existential crisis as relegation will see the club fold. We have numbers on our side only 2 drop out BUT we look every part relegation fodder. Lets not dress it up. This club looks like going down.

If your assumptions are correct, it means that every supporter must get fully behind the team and give them every support. Constant moaning gets everyone down. We have got a squad off players who we need to get the best out off. Give them your support.

Steve oh Steve. You are forgetting again - we won 60% of our matches last season where Jake Hesketh started. Very Important stat for most fans. Very Incorrect statement above from you.
Putting aside cup games we are at W1 D1 L2. I agree it's not good, but hardly disastrous. A point a game is 46 points. When only two go down, that's enough.
Time to get a grip and a bit of perspective. We have only played four games and we have won one and drawn one, against fancied teams.
It is the stage of the season that one win or one loss can have a huge impact on league position - win our game in hand for example and we are in the top ten.
Injuries do play a part - you cannot dismiss it with "don't give me all those injury excuses" when some of our top players are out - of course it makes a difference.
Nobody can win the league after four games and nobody is relegated after four games - it is far too early to be making such generalisations at this stage.
I trust John Yems and I trust the players - what I don't trust is comments suggesting we are relegation fodder after four games.
I also love his post-match comments - I know not everyone likes them but they are breath of fresh air in an otherwise sterile, naive and cliche ridden industry.

So had Hesketh started all of our games this season we would have won 2 out of the 3 league games that we have played - so what’s happening at Eastleigh - played 2 lost 2 scored 0 and Hesketh has started both been substituted in both - obviously he’s not the player you think he is - what was your comments about Eastleigh signing him - they would walk the National League this season - at the moment they are walking to the National League South.

But Hamstring only started 11 games. Nice work for a season's loan.
Not going so well at Eastleigh either, yet to make 90 mins I believe.

I was a fan of Hesketh but I don’t think he was among our most influential players because of his long injury absences. You’re going to have let go of a player who can’t get a contract in the Football League

Let's be honest, he is 25 now, not 18. If he was good enough for FL football he would have been signed by Crawley or another FL team on a free. Club scouts are not that daft, they know which players are available for signing.
There are exceptions to the rule but if he hasn't made it by now his chances are not good, particularly with his injury record.
More likely during the season he will follow the usual path - either injury, or Strevens will get the chop. Then loan to Havant, Gosport, Fareham, Dorchester or the usual suspects in the local area.
Tough one for the lad, he may be a nice guy etc, but that's the brutal reality. Of course there are people on here who think they are the next Pep Guardiola, but really they should stick to Football Manager games.

Some of you fans have got short term memories. If it wasnt for Hesketh we would have finished 17th last season. If it wasnt for Watters we would have finished 17th last season. If it wasnt for both of them we would have finished 22nd last season. They are the facts, if you think otherwise you are watching the wrong sport!
All this talk of relegation after 3 games why not wait till Christmas and then see how the land lies. Every year we are the team that is supposed to be relegation fodder and we always manage to stay up.
Some of the talk on here is ridiculous to be honest, obviously we haven't made the best start to the season but we've only played 4 games so far (and picked up 4 points) and at this stage one win would shoot you right up the table. Also bear in mind we have been missing our best players IMO (Tunnicliffe, Nichols and Tsaroulla) for pretty much all of those games.
I would start to worry a lot more if we are in or near the relegation zone by November, but for now it's way too early to be saying where we will likely finish. You only really tend to get a rough idea which teams will be challenging at the top and who would struggle after 10-15 games.
You would think though reading a few of the comments on here that we were bottom with no points and a goal difference of around -15
