I feel like after the games when he does the interviews it would also really help if someone from outside the club also asked him questions too, as I just think they will be much more informative and sound less ranty. To me it seems like after every defeat it's always 'Tough loss but the boys put in a shift today' or 'Difficult evening, what are your general thoughts'. Also would really help if they ask how long roughly he thinks a player that got injured during the game would be out for instead of just saying 'shame x got injured'
It's a shame, because many supporters would like to hear genuine thoughts on the game.
Instead the combination of feeble questions and acidic answers make it hard to watch.
I can imagine it's never easy when someone puts a mic in your face 20 mins after an annoying defeat.
I thought JY was more restrained than usual and just stated the obvious; stop the careless defensive error(s) and start putting the chances in the net. Tony C, had a very good interview, well spoken and honest. A player of integrity.
Yep there was nothing wrong with the interview. Accept there will be some who don’t like him, that’s football. If he was a little downbeat, he was probably pondering the notion that we could have had Joel Lynch in the team, which arguably could have made all the difference to the result. At least he’ll be available for Carlisle it looks like
