Nadesan should be fined after that showing. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour. Fluffs a huge chance and then gives the referee no choice with that absolute b******s
Good battling Performance from the Team for the last 28 mins. Hope Lynch injury is not to bad. We do not need Nadesan so not bothered about his ban - hope they make it a 5 match ban.
you must be on a wind up re Nadesan. Yes he cost us the game firstly he passes when a shot was clearly on and then the daft moment when he lost his head. But he is a quality players just a real shame he lost the plot tonight. FT Super Reds 2 Dirty Northerners 2
Ref lost control and made so many bad decisions its hard to imagine he was qualified for the league. One of the worst if not the worst Ive ever seen.

Colchester Saturday and now this eve, Nadesan has had a mare both days. Few games off might do him a favour and give him a reset in the head
That ref was terrible! Just very, very poor. Nowhere near the standard a professional club has the right to expect.
Harrogate are the type of team that always give us problems. Bang the ball forward to big, quick forward who don't even have to win the ball because our midfielders are slow at sweeping up the second ball.
Nadersan. Good player but needs a slap for that tonight. Your team under pressure (makeshift central defence) and he gives an idiot ref a decision to make. I honestly don't know if he used his head or not but why square up like that? Now he sits out three games.
Our defending, as a team, was poor for the first thirty minutes but they turned it around and put in a good shift for the next hour. We'll done.

Good battling performance from the team in adversity, we can see plenty of spirit in the team. The ref was poor and was having a nightmare 10 mins when he sent Nadderz off, so many poor decisions in a row. It wasn’t a headbutt so these should not be red cards, the ref had perfect view of it and would have given it straight away if so. In my view close to the incident he was talked into making a very soft decision by the linesman. It robbed the crowd of a good contest in which either team could have won - but fair play we got behind the team to get a point and the crowd helped to carry the team home.
No negatives from me tonight, everything was against us and to come through with a result that takes us top half is worthy of great praise
FT 2-2. First half we didn’t get going and Harrogate scored after 2 minutes and were first to every ball for the first 15 minutes. We often seem to start slow at home. We came into the game more and scored an equaliser which was scrambled in from a corner after we won the first header with an unlikely goal from Lynch who had a mixed game before he came off at HT. Their big centre gave him a lot to deal with before presumably he was off injured. Second goal came somewhat against the run of play with a close range finish from Ashford after a great run and cross by Nichols. We went in at HT unexpectedly 2-1 up.
Second half Nadesan came on for Lynch and we looked to have much more threat in behind. Nadesan missed a great chances through on goal after doing everything right beating the defender and keeper and then presumably through a lack of confidence he passes when the goal was gaping. Then stupid moment number two he squares up to one of their big centre halves after a tussle and then stupidly moves his head slightly towards the Harrogate player. Very harsh as hardly any contact and the Harrogate players really milked it, more than you would expect, but by the letter of the law it was probably the right decision. Very stupid from Nadesan. We went from potentially winning the game to hanging on for a draw. Very frustrating player is Nadesan. Lots of pace, always threatening, but so often fluffs his lines and gets frustrated. Presumably he is out now for 3 games for violent conduct. Luckily we held on for 2-2 for 25 minutes or so.
A mixed performance in the end, atypical of our mid table standing last season and this season where we have literally won as many as we have lost in the league so far. A good point in the end, but without the sending off we would surely have been going for the win. An entertaining game in the end and I’m just pleased whenever I can see a game these days as the threat of lockdowns etc. is always looming at the moment.
Early season worries of a relegation battle seem as I expected premature. I expect us to have enough to comfortably stay up again. I’m very confident there will be at least 2 teams worse than us. We ain’t amazing , but we ain’t terrible either! 😉
My first game in 18 months, so bound to be a dull affair with few incidents.
Harrogate looked a strong decent side & Power was outstanding for them. Their opener was soft as was our equaliser... Very happy to go in at HT 1-1... only from nowhere we scored a beauty. Lovely.
Their second was a very skillful bit of pacey wing play that panicked us, but we still looked good going forward.
Nadesan squandered a great chance, then not long after shared handbag's with their big no.20 who had been niggling him all game. The Ref gave us little all game so the sending off was a formality.
And then a strange thing happened, Harrogate stopped doing the good things that had been working so well for them and we dug in & toughened up to get a hard learned point.
A good outcome given we had lost Francombe & Lynch to injuries plus being a man down for 25 minutes. Shows we have spirit & character in the camp.
I'll take my earlier comments back, the referee's 2nd half performance was absolutely disastrous and if I could I would pay for him to have an appointment at Reigate Specsavers with the amount of fouls that he missed.
However Nadesan deserved to go 100% as I did see him move his head towards the other guys face when they squared up, which you simply cannot do. His attitude has been really poor at times this season and the way he whipped his shirt off after he was shown the red card was very reminiscent of Granit Xhaka at Arsenal a couple of years ago. It definitely cost us any realistic chance of winning the match and unfortunately with the way he's played, plus having Nichols, Ashford, Appiah and even Rodari to choose from, I think he should go in January to be honest
On the positives, I thought Dallison did well after a shaky few mins and Morris was a very safe pair of hands as usual. Despite the own goal I thought Davies was decent and Payne looks pretty solid to me (although didn't deserve MOTM in my opinion). Ashford and Nichols linked up well at times, especially for the 2nd goal, and overall I'm pretty content with the final result considering the circumstances against a team that I think could definitely make the playoffs this season. Also hopefully Francomb and Lynch's injuries aren't too bad and we will have another CB available along with Dallison on Saturday

I don’t agree with citing players leave after a bad showing. Granted, he’s had a bad evening and a slow start to the season (I think that sentence could apply to the squad collectively). But it must be frustrating playing up top for us so far this year. Lots of chasing and not much service in most games and I’m sure he’s as disappointed as us that he’s not converting more often too. Hopefully last night was the culmination of that frustration and it’ll be a lesson learnt.
However, I do agree he will need to work hard and improve to get back in the side with the options we have (subject to fitness!).
