Fairly sure this was the guy shown to seats in the west stand for the Colchester match. He must have been impressed by the knowledgeable supporters around him.
For a young player he has plenty of memorable experiences, playing for Australia in the Olympic Games and also playing in the premier league. Sounds a very good addition to the squad.
Indeed, we also seem to be building a bit of a relationship with Southampton too seeing that's the third player they've loaned to us in just over a year. Obviously Hassenhuttl is liking what we've done so far otherwise he wouldn't be trusting us with some of their brightest prospects
I’ll have to watch the interview cos the blue steel in the pictures did make me chuckle haha
Nice and promising though and my brother and I had been discussing that we’d like to see more midfield players getting into the box/scoring positions in open play. Hopefully someone like him has the legs to do that for us from midfield and chip in with some goals.
He played in our 4-0 thrashing that turned out to be Dallison’s last ever game. Remember him being quite physical for a youngster and the focal point of the Southampton midfield, the guy who was always taking the pass
Just listened to John Yems press conference. Caleb is out for 3 months and will have an operation. He is back at Southampton. Wish him well and a speedy and complete recovery.
