I predict a fry up, train journey, beer, 2-1 loss, possible curry and beer, train journey then a last beer. May still be awake to watch Quest. That would be 11 away league games in a row we've scored if we manage it. Not too shabby. 93 reds fans.
Tricky one, the defense does look a lot more solid now but am not sure wherever our attack will be enough, mind you last weekend we were playing against by far the best defensive team in the league statistically, so hopefully we will be able to create more chances in this one.
You know what, I actually think we might nick this 1-0, with Nadesan to score

If we were playing against the best defensive team in the league statistically, and Yems decided to play just one up front, then I seriously wonder what he thinks he is doing? Waiting an hour to bring on a second striker, not using RGC even though he was on the bench... not good enough. I know Appiah is our main goalscorer, and he's injured, but what's happened to Ashford? Also injured? Rodari?
We seem obsessed with wingers/wide players at CTFC, there's a lot of them, yet when these guys do get a decent cross in, there's rarely anyone up front to get on the end of it. And when Nichols did receive a cross, he had to do everything on his own as our midfield just didn't get forward to support him. Pedestrian doesn't even begin to describe it.
The best thing about last Saturday was seeing Owen Gallacher out on the pitch pre-match doing some running. Hopefully he will be back from injury soon.

Whenever there's only been one striker played up front we seemed to really struggle, it does annoy me that Yems didn't seem to notice that months ago and make sure we have two guys up there. The set-up last Saturday was very defensive which was unnecessary really because Tranmere don't have the best goalscoring record, and I'd think the best way to beat them would be to try and get people in the box for crosses. One of the issues going forward too is that the midfielders don't seem to be willing to get into the box to help out the strikers or pounce on any parries from the goalkeeper, which leaves the strikers more isolated up front and easier to defend against. That was why we never looked like scoring last time round. My hope was that the lad from Southampton might have been able to sort this somewhat but sadly he got injured as soon as he came on at Carlisle
I thought Ashford started off the season really well, did a great job filling in when Nichols was injured and Appiah was building up his fitness, but since Appiah started scoring regularly he's just been off the bench a few times. Don't think he is injured though. Rodari has had bad luck with injuries at times but appears to be out of favour at the moment and I have a feeling he will be sent out on loan very soon. Bit of a shame really as he looked alright in pre season but just hasn't got going.
Yes I think we do seem to have a lot of wingers at the club, with more probably thinking that they should start than there are available spots. Hopefully RGC will soon be able to get to the level of fitness needed to start games as before his injury I thought he was easily one of our best players. A lot of the wingers are out of contract at the end of the season and I'd expect that at least a couple of them will not still be at the club by August.
I saw Gallacher involved in the warm up too which was encouraging seeing he had been out injured for a while, spoke to him after the game and he's hoping to be match fit again very soon. If we get to say the end of March/start of April and we have absolutely nothing to play for I'd definitely want to see the likes of him, Khaleel, Kowalczyck, Kastrati and even the new goalie Seymour play in a few games just to see what they can do with next season in mind
If we Start with the Team BELOW which 80% of the TRUE FANS want to see, then Bradford 0 Crawley 4.
Goalie - Morris Back 3 - Ludwig Tunnicliffe Lynch Midfield 4 - Davies Francomb Ferry Tsaroulla Attacking Mid - Nicholls Front 2 - Nadesan Appiah
But Yems will probably start with his 2 [offensive remark removed by Admin] and all the Yems Disciples on this Forum will be happy, and the True Fans will suffer again.
