Lot of crap spouted herein - didnt we get a great win at Barnet days earlier & isnt it expected in those circumstances to start with the same eleven?
Thereby hangs the tale....expectations were perhaps a bit higher and disappointment resulted.
You're missing my point, given that Tajbaksh was a starter at Barnet, irrelevant of whether our Turkish benefactor was in attendance on Tuesday, following the win on Saturday wouldn't it be natural for him to also be in the side against Newport and if anything a bigger surprise if he wasn't...?
I've no problem with Randall or Payne but the only time I would wish to see them alongside each other is if we are running the clock down. When we are chasing the game you can have one of them but you really also need a battler to disrupt the opposition and let them get further forward.
And I know it is considered treacherous to give Morris any stick, but I would seriously question his communication... not just organisation & incisiveness for the goals conceded, but simple basic things like the amount of times our defenders have to launch a last man header into the mixer instead of getting a call to either leave it or shepherd it back to safety or out of play..?

Agreed Tazmanian devil starts due to Barnet though with Barnet having so many regulars out HK failed do homework and realise even Tazmanian Devil grandmother couldve done an ok job there.
I feel stick belongs with HK for no plan b no reaction it was sheer panic lump ball and no cohesion no meaningful managerial instruction motivation or know how. Half a brain. Useless manager. Despite inheriting the misfits he misshaped them further. He will NOT be manager of this great club in 2018

Not missing the point at all.
Yes of course it could be expected that we would play an unchanged side. But it might also be expected that the same side might demonstrate the same workrate and effort (clearly even Kewell was baffled). I don't think the player's nationality came into it as I said on another thread.
Of course the goal we conceded at Barnet was due to a schoolboy error by Tajbaksh and I still think there are at least 5 midfielders who should be playing ahead of him but with such a big squad I suspect HK is pulling names out the hat and we will see more rotations tomorrow.

Weve had some awful results eg fa cup exit to non league rubbish but losing to the 5cum of Newtport must rank as one of the worst defeats in recent years.
