year 11/12 19 points after 10 games Year 12/13 19 points Year 13/14 16 points Year 14/15 13 points Year 15/16 9 points Year 16/17 15 points Year 17/18 10 points
That is the 2nd worst return of points for the first 10 games except for Mark Yates tenure
That's a dire crowd. Quite a nice day yesterday and a mild evening. I dread to think what the crowd would have been had it been cold or pissing down with rain.
This town doesn't want a football league club, that much is clear.

Well it certainly doesn't want one playing the way we are currently. And who can blame them It is not an inexpensive outing and look at what they are getting in return. Loyalty can only stretch so far!
The issue that makes this season so bad is that we have been playing so awful at home..Supporters generally want to see positive results and that can mask poor performance. However turning up to watch defeat after defeat at home and dross football will be a fast route Kewells exit.
Defeat after defeat and dire football driving fans away.
Defeat after defeat? We won the last game! Our home form is shocking, true. But that's because we are not very good. Why we can sometimes turn it on away from home I don't know. I'm sure HK doesn't either. Quite rightly sticks with the same squad that won at Barnet, and they let him down.
Richie Barker looks a football genius, compared with some of the absolute shite we've been served up at home in the last few years.
Hardly. We couldn't score for toffee under Barker, remember? We had a decent L1 squad then that was capable of more. Unfortunately, Gregory got hold of it and dismantled it. And then got us relegated.

Back then a few years ago we had money to pay wages for decent players like Fadz, Drury, Walsh etc. Now we're taking punts on players from abroad and picking up released and non contract players where we can.
The crowds will dip below the 1000 point if we continue to play badly. Its not even losing that pisses suporters off,its paying money to watch too many players that have no right to call themselves proffesional footballers. We arent fools, weve all seen half decent and very decent players put on the shirt over many seasons,so we know when were being taken for fools.I wonder how much longer signing dross and then watching dross can continue.I suspect not much longer.

Indeed. I don't think the owner has anywhere near as much money as we thought. And giving control of transfers to a guy without a background in football is alarming, foolhardy, and clearly not working too well.

But HK is a self professed "rotator" and has bemused us with changes when we have been doing well so not necessarily straighforward to understand that. More worrying he didnt really do much (or left it too late to do anything about it) to change it. Taking off Meite and bringing on Camara to play a sort of midfield/forward role didnt seem the answer and leaving our best midfielder on the bench all evening didnt seem very logical either? It seemed last night as if there was a tactical plan to play everything back to Morris for him to lump up and concede possession, we didnt even try anything different second half and midfield never demanded the ball, Smith was at his arm waving role of a couple of years ago. We must also give Sky, Premier League and EFL much credit for the attendances and allowing our football to just be another TV show making the super rich even richer
