I think Kewell's video response is fair there. He is clearly and understandably annoyed by the players' approach and application. If they can't make it at Crawley, where are many of those nuggets going to earn a living? That said, it is in his gift to drive change and improvement and he seems to be floundering
The reality of the situation has hit Harry Kewell firmly on the chin.He knows that most of the squad shouldnt even be playing football for a living.Saying that i still think he has questiins to answer in regard to team selections and tactics,ie,the Cox and Kabby situation. But in general i dont think Kewell can be blamed for our current plight. He needs time to adapt to the brusing life of league two,but more pressing for him is getting rid of the players he knows shotld be doing simething else for a living.

If the players he inherited are no good, then why not sign some decent ones? Harry said he studied every game on video from last season and he had all pre-season and he said he was more than happy with what he had. Kewell has signed a couple of old pals from Watford (Lewis, Doherty) and feeney recommending Randall. Harry can be blamed for the shambles before us. He picks the side, and picks taj ahead of Payne, cox, kaby, Clifford and Bulman.
I think Kewell will be sacked if the team don't get a result tomorrow. Win or draw.
If we suffer another defeat which would be 5 / 6 home games I don't think the owner will hesitate to act.
You just can't ignore such awful home form. The players are playing to keep his job. Kewell also needs to do himself a favour and pick teams that get the best players in their positions on the field. Cox Bulman and Mcnerney to name three.

This discussion is all very well, but can the club afford to sack him? Do we know the length of his contract? Carlisle are favourites with the odds compilers in spite of not great away form. They concede away so lets hope we get a result. If we lose at home tomorrow, I can't see anything other than more discontent, even lower gates and a downward spiral. Carlisle are beatable so lets see the players do it!

Form and application is so bad even a win may not be enough in short term.

The thing here is , Harry is a young manager learning his trade.
He was an excellent footballer , he has high standards and will expect such high standards from his players.
The thing is he is still learning to manage the players, being a manager is like being their dad.
I have experienced this in my work life so speak from experience,
The hardest part of being a manager is not about having a great knowledge and experience of football, it is about people skills. (managing and motivating human beings )
Also, Knowing how to deal with Player A and Player B.
At this level most managers will be doing the same as Harry, learning a new skill/trade.
So, the moral of my waffle is .......this is the type of manager that works in League 2, we won't get a Ferguson or Mourinho, so get used to it my friends.
