For now I will simply point out that it must be fairly evident to everyone, that we are being purposefully distracted by a smokescreen of sensational, gaslighting, puerile titlle-tattle.
Mischief making, turning gossip into perceived fact... maybe also it is to keep our minds off other stories… y’know, genuine FACTUAL stories that we should be far more concerned with… such as: Crypto firm endorsed by Rangers, Hibs and Premier League stars ceases trading and please don't spout the usual, ‘markets have fluctuations & adjustments’ line.... genuine "markets" also have regulations.
Hey-ho, whatever the motive is, it smells of snake-oil and the snakes would rather our collective focus was on discussing a non-story rather than… hmmmn…(?)
“But speaking to the Crawley Observer, Yems said: “I want to thank all the Crawley Town fans for everything. They have been really good. I want them to keep going to Crawley Town and supporting the club.
I never wanted to leave the club.
We had a great couple of years and I have had a great time. We had a brilliant and diverse squad and I was looking forward to next season, For legal reasons I have got to keep my mouth shut but I just wanted to say thank you the fans and the players have been fantastic.“ He then ends with his thanks to Lewis and Lee Bradbury.
It's pretty clear he dips into this forum so as he will probably be reading this I want to say how refreshing it was to have a manager who said it as he saw it. I realise that isn't a good fit with how a lot of people like things done these days, but I enjoyed much of his banter - even when I didn't agree with him. It might have helped if he hadn't got himself some bans but, hey, if sneaking into the ground in a laundry basket is good enough for Mourinho...
Agree. John was a passionate guy who cared about the club and delivered some good results (eg Leeds). Personally I think the 'Yems Gems' went a bit far at times but he did better on the pitch than some bigger names did.
Bloody media - happy to spout how John Yems is racist (with only the occasional "allegedly") And that those nice WAGMI Utd guys acted so assertively to address the scourge And their consortium includes Bryce Hall...
It really stinks & clearly looks like We are owned by hypocrites, in collusion with media hypocrites Where are you Sportsmail, Sky Sports, Talksport and the rest of the circus...?
Heard a story today that CTFC have cleared John Yems of all charges but have to wait for the FA to finish their investigation before releasing their conclusions.
Second hand story but given to me by a well informed source.
Whether true or not; when is the fa going to release a report?
I am beginning to feel a decent man has had his reputation trashed by a group of individuals, aided by a rag with no regard to the truth of the story and helped by a group of frat boys who were happy to pander to the whims of a demographic that holds no love for the Crawley Town family.

Dear lord I hope I'm wrong.
Jim Baker
If this is true then I can't see jow the owners can carry on....they will never be forgiven by all TRUE Crawley fans.

What about the players that supposedly complained though? either that was all made up BS or each and every player that made false claims has to have their contracts cancelled and be booted out of the club, as for the owners, if these claims were 'genuinely' made then they had no option but to follow them up, on the liberal outrage scale to have ignored them would've been grossly unacceptable
...to have ignored them would've been grossly unacceptable
So why is it acceptable for the owners to ignore it when it involves one of their own, an actual member of the WAGMI Utd consortium...?
And - more pertinently - why has it not even registered on the "liberal outrage scale" with even a passing mention by our righteously crusading media...?
John has a big defamation case if all is clear in the FA investigation…
Against who?
That isn't fully clear. Some newspapers appear to have misreported anonymous allegations as facts, so there may be a case against them. As the supposed accuser(s) have not been named, it might require legal action to flush them out because it might take a court order. There might even be an issue of reporters refusing to name their source(s), arguing that it would cause problems with having a free press.
If JY takes such a route, he would be well advised to find someone to take the case on a no-win-no-fee basis - but maybe his subs to the LMA could cover it.

Seems we will have to wait until the 17th October 2022 for the outcome, unless so often as the case is in America, money settles everything before it makes it to court. If he’s found guilty, I hope he’s booted from WAGMI. However with WAGMI’s past actions, he should already have been removed
