Alex sorry I wasn't aware the John Yems allegations were unfounded trouble is mud sticks and he should look for compensation.
I thought he had already reached a mutually agreed settlement with the club, so I'm not sure how compensation would fit.
That is the trouble, if he has reached a settlement with the club I don't see how he can go back and claim compensation if the FA's investigation finds nothing like the clubs investigation. He could've dug his heels in and let the club sack him if he was confident he would be cleared in the FA investigation and then claimed unfair dismall, but that would be risky move as even if he is innoncent the FA's investigation may conclude on a lack of evidence so he'll never get the full clearence that he did nothing wrong. Yems is a man the wrong side of 60 and may not have wanted all that hassle, took what he could get from the club, got them to pay up his contract and then left without them officially sacking him. Whatever happens with the FA investigation we may never know as fans.
I will add a disclaimer that would don't know for definte Yems did nothing wrong, but the club didn't find anything in their investigation so it's over to the FA...
