No mention of a fan from this forum. Why not? What a disgrace. How were they chosen. Frosty is one of them. More Kellogs than a scobby do. None, I say none of you speak for me.

This is an example, one of several ( eg: season ticket announcement on faceboook) that relates perfectly to my new thread about communication from the club.
The fans on the council are all named on the official website. This is a good initiative although care must be taken that false rumours are not spread by other fans making out that they are “in the know”
Taken from the official club website - Crawley Town Football Club can confirm the set-up of a fan council made up of seven members who will have direct access to the ownership group through meetings and conversations across the season. These members will be free to feed any information and answers back to the supporters through forums and social media. The fan council members are Jed Jones, Barbara Robinson, Reuben Watt, Harrison Adams, Michael Fox, Stuart Frost and Beth Humphrey who will work alongside other key supporter groups to make sure the voices of all Crawley fans are heard.
The same thought crossed my mind. Would have liked yo have had the chance to become a member...especially after 50 years of following the reds Will these positions become available to 7 different fans next season? I suppose any updates etc will be via Twatter.

They are probably Preston's drinking mates
Maybe but tongue back in cheek the communication here was you are in the lop or not. I think Alex or George should've been asked to be on he council after all they run this forum (thanks) but essentially everyone should've had the opportunity and clearly that wasn't the case that raises suspicion and distrust.

I literally know nothing about this fan council, what it is, how it came about, absolutely nothing apart from what has been posted on here, so consequently its difficult to impossible to say anything else, i.e. is good or bad how can I possibly know. I agree though in principle everyone should have been made aware and been afforded the opportunity to join if they so wished. What would be a good thing is the club properly announced what this is all about AND as highlighted very well elsewhere on this forum they stick to communications via the official club channels. For me, club website is a must.
